This deck has the tools to beat almost any deck in any meta. I believe this deck is slightly better in conquest vs ladder but can get you to infinite rank without question. The only matchup I personally struggle to take down consistently is the Brood/Patriot list (which is the best deck in the game as of early Sept. 2023). Tech cards of Shang-Chi and Enchantress help with specific matchups like Destroy or Darkhawk lists. Turn 5 Sera allows you to play Mysterio, Nova, Hit Monkey, and Killmonger on turn 6 for a big combo play.
Card Overview:
Nova/Killmonger- Great turn 6 combo to buff your other cards. You can still use this combo with a 2 drop like Mysterio on turn 6 if you did not get your Sera on board. Killmonger is a great card on its own because most decks have one drops and it can take them all out!
Kitty Pryde- A great one drop that synergizes well with Angela and Bishop because you can play her over and over to buff them.
Angela- Benefits from Kitty and the maneuverability of Jeff.
Jeff- Not essential in this list but he fits well in almost any deck. You can play him on the Angela lane and move him to a lane that needs the help or to a location that it harder to access.
Scarlet Witch- I really like Scarlet in this deck. She can take some of the less favorable locations away like Dream Dimension, Bar with No Name, etc. She can also be sneaky good to take away a Limbo on turn 6 if you feel like you can surprise your opponent who is hoping for that turn 7.
Mysterio- Works the best on the final turn when you have Angela and Bishop on board and hopefully a Hit Monkey behind it for a +6 benefit.
Bishop- He is your ideal turn 3 play to scale up the rest of the game. He is low tempo for T3 but by the end of the game he can almost solo a lane.
Hit Monkey- As a 3/2 he still does his thing, but almost requires Sera to get there. You could still play Kitty, Mysterio, and Hit Monkey on turn 6 without Sera to get him as a 3/10 which is still quite strong.
Shang-Chi- really solid card to keep decks like Destroy in check
Enchantress- I like running Enchantress to disrupt cards like Armor that are protecting 1 drops but she is also effective in countering cards like Darkhawk and Wong.
Sera- She makes this deck so much better if you have the cards you need on turn 6. You can still win a fair amount if you don't draw and subsequently play her on turn 5, but having her on board for the final turn lets you do a lot more!
What deck lists should I make next?
