Welcome to Bundle Buys! Where we look at the cosmetic and resource value of each bundle individually in Marvel Snap! We have another anime-focused pack to break down today. The One-Punch Women Bundle! This one has been on a lot of players' radar recently for the variants, so let's cut to the chase!
Variants
Storm - Storm is in my Top 5 Variant Collections in Marvel Snap. She has all hits and no misses. That streak continues here. This scandalous variant looks amazing animated with all backgrounds due to the electricity flowing from her animations in front. Top-tier variant: 100%.
Captain Marvel - Captain Marvel, on the other hand, is not as well known for "stand-out" variants. While her Artgerm is pretty revered, and this anime approach brings some levity, I truly believe her best variants are yet to come in the future. With that said, out of all of her currently available variants, this one stands out with a much brighter approach, so it's still in the top 3 for her.
Overall Cosmetic Rating - 8.5/10
Resources
Boosters - One set of each of the 155 boosters is honestly plenty given the amount of play time both cards see. Chances are that you are already sitting on a few hundred boosters as it is, so I wouldn't put too much emphasis on these splits yet. They both look great in prism and foil, so it's a nice perk to get -1- split, but not the end of the world.
Credits - The credits here (when compared to a direct $99.99 USD Gold conversion rate) are nearly equal. 7500 Credits would equate to 6000 Gold. And the bundle itself is 5600. So, for -just- resources, it's nearly a wash.
Overall Resource Rating - 6.5/10
Buy it? Or Skip it?
This one is incredibly tough. According to the school of thought about maximizing resources, this is a mediocre buy. It's nearly a wash if you were going to buy Gold for Credits anyway. From a cosmetic perspective, it's a homerun. Incredible variants that will see a ton of play time in Marvel Snap. As I look at the breakdown, I guess my eyes are seeing it as even resources with a park of two stellar variants. With that said...
