Hello and welcome back to Burning Questions, your weekly look at the hottest topics in Marvel Snap! This week we're talking about Hela and Agamotto!
1) How can I beat Hela (again)?
We're once again living through a Hela meta. The biggest problem with Hela is never her power, but whenever she's strong she always ushers in metagame that demands you play hard counters or high point output deck. That means counter decks like clog and point slam decks like Mr Negative also become popular. Here are two decks that have a fighting chance against Hela that are neither of the above options.
Anti-Hela Moto
Anti-Hela Wiccan
2) Is Agamotto actually good?
You may be yelling at your screen saying I'm crazy, of course Agamotto's good! He's the latest overpowered Season Pass card! However, chatter among the highest ranked players has been more mixed. Agamotto has seen his play rate dip in post infinite play and some are wondering if he's actually any good.

I feel confident that Agamotto is a good card. But he's both complicated and entering a meta that is hostile to him. Remember, Thanos wasn't considered good immediately upon release. It took time to find his ideal build. Wiccan went through a similar cycle. Wiccan has a lot of similarities with Agamotto and they are both ways to supercharge mid-range cards. Finding the ideal Agamotto build is going to take time. Additionally, Agamotto, like everything, is meta dependent. Agamotto is a mid range all star that grants mid-range decks massive extra power and explosiveness. Unfortunately Hela metas are the worst specifically because they are the graveyard of mid-range. When the meta inevitably shifts and people have more time with him, Agamotto will shine.
3) Do you ever talk about Snap or just write about it?
I can speak! You can see proof on this episode of the Marvel Snapcast with the great ItsGuestGaming and SuperTechGod!
4) Q: Is there any priority between Quinjet's effect and other effects that increase cost? Is this interaction correct? The image shows that even though the minimum is 1 for Quinjet, a card that costs 1 with its cost increased does not have its cost reduced. I understand that Quinjet's effect is being placed at a lower priority to allow this. Is this intentional?
A: Like most cards with overlapping timing among their effects, this interaction depends upon which card resolved first.
If Quinjet was first, then its effect will apply first and Gorgon will apply second, leading to a created 1-Cost card costing 2 Energy.
If Gorgon was first, then its effect will apply first and Quinjet will be able to apply second, leading to a created 1-Cost card costing 1 Energy because they'll cancel out.

Author's note:
This is a fascinating interaction that makes sense once it's explained. I guess in Conquest if you're facing a deck with Gorgon you'll want to hold your Quinjet in some situations.
5) Q: So if we play an Arcanum on a location like Altar of Death or Vormir, they do activate the text of the location and count as a card getting destroyed.
Does that mean they first move to the destroy pile, and then to the banish pile—and in which case, would Firehair also trigger their effects if one were to play an Arcana on such a location?
Or do they directly move to the banish pile itself and simply trigger the location's text because a card was played, and it doesn't matter what its status is when the location's text is triggered?
A: We’re reviewing these actions, as we’re seeing some inconsistencies in the outcomes. We’ll update players on them soon.

Author's note:
There have been quite a few quirks, both intentional and unintentional with the interactions between destroy and the Arcana. Currently, Nico will draw if you play an Arcana, but that's a bug that will be changed. Hopefully these inconsistencies are ironed out quickly.
