New year and a new season featuring our favorite members of the Dark Avengers! You Better be on your best behavior or you might face Victoria Hand, Moonstone, Bullseye, Ares, and their leader, Iron Patriot.

Season Cards

Iron Patriot

On Reveal: Add a random {card.TokenEnergyCost_1}-Cost or more card to your hand. If you’re winning here after next turn, give it -{card.ReducedCost} Cost.

Our favorite CEO/president/villain/hero is back as a brand new card! Norman Osborn ditched the glider in favor of a very patriotic Iron-Man suit. Iron Patriot is hovering over as a 2-Cost 3-Power card with the On-Reveal of adding a 4,5, or 6-Cost card into your hand. If you’re winning his location by the end of the next turn, that card gets a massive discount of 4 energy. Incredible card I would say, and it fits that he is stealing SHIELD’s motif of adding cards into the hand.

Victoria Hand

Ongoing: Your cards that were created in your hand have +2 Power.

Hands up for Victoria! Someone on the dev team must be proud of her effect. Victoria Hand is another 2-Cost 3-Power card that has the Ongoing effect of granting +2 power to every card that is created into your hand. I love her simplicity and I want to make Devil Dinosaur decks again.

Moonstone

Ongoing: Has the Ongoing effects of your 3-Cost or less cards here.

The third Moon card! Unfortunately they don’t make for a compelling deck. Moonstone is a 4-Cost 6-Power card with the potent Ongoing effect of having every Ongoing effect of cards in her lane that cost 3 or less. Mystique copying a big effect seems like a powerful combo with her. What else can we do? Cerebro?

Bullseye

Activate: Discard all cards that cost 1 or less from your hand. Afflict that many different enemy cards with -2 Power.

We missed this guy, unfortunately he doesn’t miss anyone. Bullseye is a 3-Cost 3-Power with the Activate of discarding all your cards that cost 1 or less from your hand, then, he will inflict a random card on your opponent’s side of the board with -2 power for every card that he discarded. Discard getting new tools is always welcomed, hope you got your Scorn a few season’s back.

Ares

On Reveal: Compare the Power of the top 3 cards of both decks. If your total is higher, +6 Power.

Let’s go to war! Ares is drop kicking hard as a 4-Cost 6-Power card with the manly On-Reveal effect of challenging your opponent to a flexing competition between the top 3 cards of each deck; if you win, Ares gets 6 more power. Is this the next big Surtur Card?

Patch and OTA Schedule
