Move over Spotlights because there is a new card acquisition system in town. With the release of Snap Packs we got a surprise of 3 brand new cards coming along for the ride. You’re here because you want to know which of these are worth getting, so sit down and let me move through each of these cards as quickly as I can. I’m here to help break it down, but I like my card evaluations like I like my Marvel Snap games. Fast. Snappy!

I can’t believe they gave us this!
Not only does this trigger off your moves but also any opponent cards, even if you’re the one that moved them! Throw him in a Scream deck and watch as your opponent’s Power goes down and yours goes up.
Movement is such a powerful tool in snap especially when you have a card that can move on its own. Partnering Batroc with Sam Wilson and Kraven means you can have cards gaining power in every lane. While something like Werewolf by Night grows faster, Batroc is more controlled on where he lands. Since it’s only once per turn, you don’t have to worry about complex situations where you lose track of where Batroc ends up.

Oh man am I scared of this one.
The key goal of Move Bounce decks is to pick up your move scalers and reuse the on reveal move enablers. Topaz lets you double dip on the moving, letting all your scalers move as soon as you can replay them, again and again.
Imagine playing something like Human Torch into Topaz and then having it land into a lane with Madame Web or maybe even a spicy Hercules. This also isn’t limited to once per turn, so if you can play a bunch of cards that have just been discounted by Beast, then all of them will get to move.

Is this a good Activate card?
Finally a way to move multiple cards to the right!
A great partner for turn 6 Heimdall when you want to get a bunch of move procs and have an unpredictable board state.
What can we use to benefit from this burst moving? Move scalers like Hydra Stomper, Vulture, and Human Torch all will climb to high Power totals no matter where they end up. We also have Kraven who wants things moved to him. Mixing up the options keeps your opponent from knowing what your end totals are going to be.
So how did I do? Did I move through the cards too quickly? Hit me up on Twitter and let me know below what your first thoughts are on the new Series 4 cards! If you want some more thoughts and deck ideas be sure to check out Scosco’s full preview on them here!
