One week into the season, many players have already achieved the infinite rank, while others are still striving to climb. Regardless of your current rank, the current meta provides various options to help you reach infinite and continue progressing afterward. Let's take a look at some different deck lists that players have used to achieve this rank.
Meta Decks for Infinite
Doom 2099 Ongoing
While there are other ongoing decks available, this one stands out as the most popular. It features a straightforward strategy with simple snap conditions and can unleash incredible last-turn power using either Doom or Spectrum. Goliath can also become quite massive, especially when paired with Doom 2099. Additionally, Captain Carter is valuable for further buffing your Doom Bots. Although this deck is vulnerable to Enchantress, you can mitigate that risk by spreading your ongoing cards across multiple lanes, making it easier to counter her.
Thanos Ongoing
The Mad Titan is back, but this time with a slightly different approach. With most of the stones in play and Golitath serving as a cheap and reliable threat, Thanos has taken on a new form that packs a significant punch. Notably, Thanos can utilize protection from cards like Cosmo and has natural defenses with Soul Stone. Overall, this deck can deliver enormous power while also shielding itself from cards that could undermine that power, such as Shang-Chi and Enchantress.
Sauron Big Guys
When discussing Enchantress, another popular meta deck that can help you reach infinite rank is the Big Guys deck, also known as the Sauron deck. Its rising popularity can be attributed to its ability to effectively utilize Enchantress as a part of its main strategy to counter ongoing cards present in the game. Although this deck does not protect its powerful threats with cards like Cosmo or Armor, it typically includes a range of threats exceeding 10 power. This strength allows it to effectively challenge all three lanes, making it resilient against potential plays such as Shang-Chi.
Bullseye Discard
The deck is often considered the "boogeyman" of the format. Bullseye discard functions like the new negative strategy; it's essentially a combo deck that relies on specific pieces to execute a devastating play on the final turn, wiping out the opponent. While this should be clear by now, it still manages to earn a significant number of cubes from players.
Control
Last but not least in our meta deck section is the Control list, which has become one of the most popular decks to run. With many Ongoing and Discard strategies running around, having a deck that includes a variety of tech cards combined with buff cards like Gwenpool and Galactus is a solid strategy. This is especially effective because most tech cards have low power to balance their abilities, so being able to buff is amazing. Additionally, Juggernaut is a fantastic card for stealing cubes that players, including myself, often forget about.
Off Meta
Clog
I typically use some version of Clog to reach infinite rank each season. For this season, I experimented with a couple of different ideas and spent most of the 70s and 80s running my usual Selene lists. When I reached the 90s, I switched to the version above, which I got from my alliance mate, Teledadman. I replaced Daredevil with Selene because Selene is my favorite, and Iβm not really a fan of Daredevil. In my opinion, he is a 1-cube card and not worth including.
Overall, Clog performs fairly well against most strategies, but it can struggle against discard and ongoing strategies. That's why I included Enchantress in the deck to counter the ongoing strategies prevalent in the meta. Agamotto and his skill cards add a lot of utility, and with a well-timed Bolts on turn 5, I can play both Agamotto and Cannonball on turn 6, which is quite explosive. If you're a fan of Clog, I recommend giving this version a try.
3 is the new 4
This is a Captain Carter deck inspired by one of my alliance mates. It's an unconventional strategy that can help you gain a lot of cubes and push you to infinite rank within the first week of the season. The main idea is to focus on getting your four-cost cards out early to buff your other cards, then flood the board with powerful stats on the final turn.
Technically, Kate Bishop should be replaced with Mysterio; however, Mysterio is currently experiencing some bugs with Captain Carter, making him less reliable than Kate. Either way, buffing Captain Carter for additional stats and filling that lane with cards like Brood and Ultron can secure you a winβespecially when you have double cost reduction from Sera and Phastos or Zabu.
Low CL/No season pass
Negative
With its well-established play patterns and snap mechanics, Negative is quickly becoming one of the best budget-friendly combo decks. Notably, it only includes two Series 5 cards, which can be replaced if necessary, though the deck's effectiveness may be reduced. If you're still aiming for an Infinite deck, Negative is a solid choice as long as you're disciplined with your snapping and retreating strategies.
Ajax
Another deck that has fallen out of favor recently is the Ajax Affliction deck. While it may not be the cheapest option available, it has been around long enough that most players have likely acquired many of the necessary pieces through spotlights, events, or gold bundles. The main attraction of this deck is Luke Cage, as he helps shut down many of the Bullseye combo aspects of discard strategies and keeps your cards safe. Additionally, he can significantly weaken your opponents' power when combined with Diamondback and Hazmat, especially since most decks do not include protection.
Sasbird
A deck that gained popularity recently is Sasbird, which utilizes buffing cards to distribute power efficiently during the final turns. An added advantage of this deck is its ability to include Super Skrull, which has become an excellent tech card, given the prevalence of ongoing strategies currently in play.
Ongoing
If you're relatively new to the game, using the ongoing strategy is one of the best options available right now. This strategy works especially well if you've picked up the season pass or Goliath, as both can be easily integrated into your deck to boost your power level. Even when facing other decks in the format that may have a higher card level than yours, this deck still manages to win more than 50% of the time.

This deck comes from Fazzer Snap, who mentioned that it is a lot of fun and has a strong win rate. After playtesting it a bit yesterday, I agree that this is an enjoyable deck that can win a significant number of cubes if you are smart about your retreats. At times, everything just clicks, and Iron Lad can make a huge impact, depending on the card he reveals. Additionally, if you've purchased the Luna Snow bundle, this is a great deck to try using with your new variant.
Jimmy Dickins
This deck is inspired by, my fellow writer, Jimmy Dickens and serves as an evolution of his previous deck used before Arishem. It functions similarly to Arishem, featuring random card generation and the ability to play various unknown threats. This deck is definitely more unconventional than most, so if you prefer to stray from the mainstream, I recommend giving it a try. A particularly strong play is discarding a Helicarrier, which can set you up for a full seven cards for Kahhori. Either way, you're more likely to surprise your opponent than anything since you have a wealth of card generation.
Kahhori Thanos
If you're currently exploring more meta options, the top deck featuring Kahhori right now is a Thanos deck. This synergy makes perfect sense, as the Stones help fill your hand, while the random distribution of power can turn the tide in many close games. That said, Kahhori is definitely versatile, and players are experimenting with various combinations.
