There is a lot of excitement going around about the latest Marvel Snap card, Infinity Ultron, and its 6 Infinity Stones. They have many different abilities to wrap our heads around and a complex web of connectivity between them. But how should we figure out which of these Stones is worth hoping you pull? I’m here to help break it down, but I like my card evaluations like I like my Marvel Snap games. Fast. Snappy!

Starting off with the best of the bunch!
Doubling up your other Stone abilities is only the beginning of the fun.
Once we include other On Reveals the possibilities become very exciting!
What are some of those possibilities? Silver Surfer has been the obvious answer for a lot of people, but another way to spread points on your side is the new Kahhori. Maybe you didn’t get 2 good Stones, so Kahhori is a way to turn that useless one into more points.

Another favourite of mine.
A couple of the Stones work off of Ultron’s Power, making this the keystone of that strategy.
You’re going to want to combine this with some other ways to buff Ultron or perhaps even find a way to repeat this ability.
The Mind Stone can help with this, but if you don’t get them together stuff like Wong or Grandmaster can get you there. If you want to increase Ultron’s Power before doubling then cards like Galacta or Shuri can help you stay on curve.

Power Stone’s best friend.
The higher Ultron’s Power the better this stone becomes.
Thankfully it isn’t random, but making a 6 Power Drone on its own probably isn't enough without extra help.
How do we get this extra help? All the same cards we talked about with the Power Stone all help this one. Beyond that this is another card that wants its ability doubled. Grandmaster is especially interesting with this because that will let you move where the Drone is being placed instead of just filling a lane with two of them.

On the surface this doesn’t seem very useful, but maybe this is better than it seems.
If you have a big Ultron then moving something small wouldn’t be likely to lose the lane.
Low Power stuff can also have important abilities so moving one of those could be back-breaking for your opponent.
Imagine moving an opponent’s well placed Iron Man or their Morbius before they dump their hand. Changing the board when your opponent doesn’t expect it is how you get 8 cube wins. Being able to leverage that is a good snap condition. Too bad this also doesn’t afflict the moved card but I guess even Ultron isn’t a Sorcerer Supreme like Agamotto!

Maybe I’m just not creative enough but this has got to be the worst one.
The extra 2 Power per full lane is bordering on irrelevant. This Stone doesn’t even have anything to do with Ultron. Hopefully it gets changed one day.
If I had to guess, this is supposed to be a reference to the original Ultron card that creates enough Drones to fill up but surely we aren’t going to play those two together. How are we supposed to have that much energy!

This is either going to be really good or really bad.
If you are doing a Ramp deck for Ultron then you probably have some more big guys this can drop. Sometimes this might not represent enough useful points and you’d rather it was a different Stone. Not the worst, but I wouldn’t call it the best either.
I’d compare this card to Redwing and Eson. Cheating Energy by playing an extra card is good, it just isn’t the kind of thing that’s always good. I do like the idea of playing this in Surfer so you can get another 3-Cost body down to buff.
As for Ultron himself, I think he’s interesting. Whether he is good or not is going to hinge on his Power and how easy it is to get Stones that interact with it in some way.
