How to Build INTO it:
Human Torch
When this moves, double
its Power.
Silk
After ANY card is played here, move this to another location.
Deadpool
When Destroyed: Return this to your hand with double the Power.
Kitty Pryde
When this returns to your hand,
+1 Power. Returns at the start
of each turn.
- What doubles Human Torch into crazy high numbers even faster? This. This does... potentially 16 power by turn 3 is nuts.
- Silk, the newest card to drop into the game, makes a load of sense here to grab that bonus, and web away into the sunset.
- Deadpool will also enjoy the doubleing, similarly to Human Torch, but from a destroy mechanic side. Even though this land is built for move, it will ramp Deadpool destroy as well.
- Kitty Pryde is one fo the hottest cards in the game right now still, so knowing you can redistribute her turns better since Aunt May's could make up for some mana loss choices makes her a solid play too.
How to Build AROUND it:
Debrii
On Reveal: Add a Rock to each other location.
Shang-Chi
On Reveal: Destroy an enemy card here that has 10 or more Power.
Shadow King
On Reveal: Reset all cards here to their original Power.
- Debrii helps to limit your opponents other locations, not Aunt May's itself. The opponent grabs their bonus, swings away, and then you rock it. Its halfway clogged, giving you a better chance to project that lanes future in particular.
- Shang-Chi reappears as prosperous here if your opponent decides to go for a mega play + Taskmaster combo and Helps to increase the pool of players he can eliminate.
- Shadow King is emerging slowly as a strong counter card in todays meta. Being able to reduce that power increase, that your opponent may be banking on for a lane victory, is a fantastic power swing on the final turn of the game.
When all else fails, destroy it.
Storm
On Reveal: Flood this location. Next turn is the last turn cards can
be played here.
Rhino
On Reveal: Add a Rock to your side of this location.
Scarlet Witch
On Reveal: Replace this location with a new one.
Running either Storm, Rhino or Scarlet Witch will switch the location, therefore eliminating the ability entirely.
Deck Suggestion
Aunt May's Nightmare
- Yes, we're back to Silver Surfer again. Why? Two hybrid lines of victory here. Debrii>Killmonger>Death or Debrii>Dazzler>Silver Surfer.
- Debrii helps in two ways in this deck. Lane restriction for your opponent (hurts the May Move) and lane fill for you (helps the reworked Dazzler).
- Playing Brood helps to set up a 5-power Brood in one lane and 2 2-power Broodlings in the original Aunt May's lane.
- Shadow King can remove that buff from your opponents card while Luke Cage helps to ensure your buff doesnt go away.
- Depending on how the interaction reveals too, we soulc see Storm get +3, the shimmy out of the lane as it turns to the flooded. That will be an interaction I'm specifically watching for.
