Location Lowdown - Mosh Pit & Parker Industries

Location
dualgloves
Nov 12, 25

Marvel Snap brings on two brand-new Spider-Verse themed locations to test your reflexes and your decision-making skills. Be sure to bring a ton of web-fluid for we are about to enter where no spider has been before. Whether you find yourself surrounded by spider-foes on the Mosh Pit or standing tall at the high rise glass towers of Parker Industries, I’m here to help you out. So, polish your eye-lenses, reload your web-shooters, and prepare to snap with acrobatics!

Mosh Pit - November 12th

End of Turn: Give front-row cards here +1 Power.

At the end of every turn, Mosh Pit gives +1 power to all front-row cards there. It’s like a more limited version of Muir Island.

End of Turn: Give cards here +1 Power.

You’ll want to put at least two cards into the Mosh Pit as soon as possible to get the most out of this location. Just playing cards here is quite fair, however, I would look to play cards that benefit the most from getting buffed. We need to look for some powerful cards to body slam and elbow out any kind of opposition.

PREMIUM PITTERS

The Surf gang is here to body slam anyone out of the pit. The archetype is solid in usual condition but with the moshpit in game, we can flail everyone out of the game with the help of two key cards: Peggy Carter and Sebastian Shaw. Every single extra point of Power boost is extra valuable on these guys as they multiply its value into exorbitant amounts. With Mosh Pit buffing them as the game goes on you practically win a location without breaking a sweat. Slot in their usual partners and you’re set.

Since we mentioned Carter, there is another archetype that heavily features her and I believe it would be great in the Mosh Pit. Ongoing is the name and it presents both Iron Man and Peggy as powerful cards to swing into your favor for the extra boost of the location. Mystique can also be used to duplicate any of these two powerful effects. If you have Moonstone the potential goes even further.

Bang your head with the Destroy Archetype. We have a lot of early cards that would love to enter the fray of the Mosh Pit like Deadpool, Headpool, X-23. Also, every extra point of power you destroy, it goes directly into Knull. Need I say more? Go headbang!

Parker Industries - October 29th

+2 Energy this turn, but you can only play 1 card.

Interesting that Peter took some pages from Electro’s cookbook. We get extra energy but with the addendum of only being able to use it on a single card. Don’t worry it’s just for the turn it reveals, not for the whole game like Electro dictates with his text.

To get the most out of this location, we need to play decks that rely on cards that have a decent to high cost and can do serious work when played before their usual turn. Let me walk you through some suggestions.

Do you like to know if you’ll win the game by turn 4? If the answer is yes, I suggest Mr Negative to be your guy. His deck lives or dies by drawing and playing him, usually by turn 4. Welp, with Parker Industries we got the extra energy to play him ahead of the curve and get the most out of his effect. Don’t forget to include in your deck your favorite 0 or less powered card to be swapped with their cost and Mighty Thor to pull them into your hand.

Any time we get extra energy I find myself thinking of how to use it with my man Sunspot. He is great whenever you need to soak up some spilled energy. Luckily for us, he fits into a ton of decks. His most recent home was End of Turn decks that have been insanely powerful ever since Invisible Woman First Steps came around. But that’s not all, if you’re feeling nostalgic we also have the possibility of bringing back High Evolutionary and his creations.

My last suggestion is War Machine and friends. This deck relies on Electro to ramp up their plays into powerful threats. Now with Parker Industries we can forgo Electro to play an extremely early War Machine that will herald your opponent’s early grave with the lockdown combo of Storm+Legion.

Afterthoughts

Why hello there! This time around we got some new locations that aren’t that impactful, and to me, that is always a good thing. I hate when new locations are added that can determine who wins in an instant by how impactful they are when they show up. So I’m glad we got these two to keep us entertained this Season, maybe the next one can have some more bangers filled with chaos for us to traverse carefully.

But that’s just my opinion. What do you think? Do you prefer mild locations such as these or high impact locations such as Worldship or World Forge?

Create your deck list with one of the new locations in the title and place the link in the comments along with your discord username, with a brief description on why you’ll be using this deck for the location, for a chance at a season pass!
