This is the home of Strange Supreme, the only man intelligent enough to become the ultimate living sorcerer and stupid enough to destroy the universe in the attempt.
Here, the furniture floats, the coffee is always freshly brewed by itself and the temperature is always just right. The only problem you’ll face here is trying to decide on a color for your sassy magical cloak. This corner is where he keeps the—oh it got out. Nevermind that.
So sit down and kick your feet up on the floating furniture. Don’t touch anything that promises you riches beyond your wildest dreams, and remember multiverse shattering events must be solved in three business days. But don’t worry—if you destroy reality as we know it, just act like you meant to. That’s what Strange usually does.

Better stretch your fingers! We’re about to cast some crazy spells by doing some energetic hand signs. This Wednesday the 23rd, Sanctum Infinitum will join Snap as a new location, by mere cosmology, it’ll also be our Hot Location for the 24 hours. Let’s take a peak:
Is that—it can’t be! A cool discard location! Quite a simple premise, whenever Sanctum Infinitum shows up, you’ll forcibly discard a random card from your hand, not unlike Sokovia.
The fun twist is that if you manage to fill the location up, you’ll get your discarded card back and with an extra 5 power to boot! It finally adds a decision factor towards these discard locations. If you want what was rightfully yours to begin with, you’ll need to work for it. You’ll need to weigh how important that card was for you and if it is worth it to jump through the hoops in order to have it back in time to play it. Let’s try thinking of strategies that would suit this location.
Just a small addendum, it could totally be a strategy to try changing Sanctum Infinitum if you feel like the card your opponent discarded is fundamental for his gameplan. Just change the location and your opponent will lose that card for the entirety of the match.
I’m gonna get this out of the way and say that discard decks is the obvious answer here. Getting a card discarded for free is amazing for those decks, nevermind getting an extra bonus later for it. So shake off the dust of your Apocalypses, your Helas, perhaps your Khonshus and all the cards that accompany them. They’ll be fantastic while Sanctum Infinitum is popping up on your games. So yeah, any version of discard will be even more potent than usual during this Hot Location.
Another way to quickly recover our card is by playing mobile cards in order to avoid the long-term commitment that Sanctum Infinitum usually requires. Cards like Nightcrawler, Kitty Pryde, Jeff and Vision could rescue our card in a jiff. All of those cards benefit greatly from Elsa Bloodstone and her powerful buffing power. Slot in Sam Wilson Captain America and the deck builds itself practically.
Another archetype that would appreciate greatly and extra 5 points of power is the always relevant Silver Surfer and his gang. If Sanctum Infinitum deems you worthy and discards your Absorbing man, or Sebastian Shaw, you can quickly get them back with a fortuitous Brood invasion on the Sanctum.
Did you know that Handbuff is an archetype that exists? Did you know that it would commit tax fraud for a way to get 5 extra power on a few crucial deck pieces like Scarlet Spider, Mister Sinister, Captain Carter, Lasher, and Mysterio. Place in some buffing cards like Galacta, Gwenpool, Forge and Phastos and you’ll get things in motion for a powerful display that will make your opponent tremble in retreat.
Maybe I shouldn’t mention this one. Move bounce is the last archetype that I’ll recommend, but be warned that it might give you a major headache due to how much brain power it demands to pilot it well. Slot in your movers like Araña, Iron Fist, Madame Web. Your bouncers in Toxin and Beast. And lastly, your scalers like Human Torch, Dagger, and Vulture. With this archetype in hand, you’ll easily fill up Sanctum infinite and grab your card back without worrying too much. Your dream would be to discard Human Torch at turn 1 and grab him early enough to move him around some.

Another discard location but I really don’t mind this one. I wish they replaced Sokovia with this one because I totally see a game in my future where Sokovia, Weapon X facility and Sanctum Infinitum show up to ruin my day. As for my reason for liking this one is that it adds another element to the game, you don’t simply lose a card and that's it, you get the chance to win more than you lost if you play your cards right.
