The Deadlands - October 15th
Deadlands, the land of the dead, Dead’s land if you will. This location was tailormade for the Horde and just in time for the fantastical arrival of Zombie Mister Fantastic, if you need a brief on the guy, I made an article to die for that you can find by clicking here. But enough of that. Let's talk about the location for a second.
Deadlands features an End of Turn effect that is not different from the cards we’ve seen so far such as Thena and Sunspot. The location will grant Horde to both players at the end of the turn, whether your deck is made for it or not. So I suggest playing your dutiful part in the Zombie Apocalypse and bring in your own Zombie deck to get the most out of the location.
Any number of these guys would be great but I do believe that this time around the more is going to be the merrier.
It's a shame we won’t have access to both The Hunger and Zombie Sentry. Maybe on the next end of the world.
So that’s all there is to this location, it's quite simple and designed to elevate the cards of the season. If you don’t think that the Horde is for you, you can absolutely just take the free Zombie Horde and run it to win but it won’t be as powerful as a deck featuring our new Zombie Overlords.

Survivor’s Camp - October 29th
Now this is a much more interesting location. It's another race location, we have a few of these locations in the game but the one that comes closest is Asgard.
But unlike the realm of the Aesir Gords, Survivor’s Camp features a consolation prize of a Zombie Horde with 2 power. Don’t know about you but I would gladly lose on the opportunity of having +2 power on the board to draw an extra card. So, most of the time I would play to win this location and reap the extra card as my triumph. There are a couple of archetypes that are better than the others on making power by the end of turn 4. Let me list my favorites.
Surtur fell out of the meta recently but I do believe it is still quite a potential threat, especially by drawing another card washed clean of any nasty side effects by our always helpful dino guy, Sauron. There simply is no competition to the amount of power this deck can bring to the field early with the likes of Starbrand, Lizard and Ebony Maw.
Scream just won a tournament and her team is more than ready for the end of the world. Ready your Juggernaut as a sure fire way to victory over the Survivor’s Camp. If he doesn’t show up, your deck features a ton of disruption to move your opponent’s cards away from the capture point.
Hey did you know that Zombies can’t eat through literal garbage? Use that info to your advantage and trash your opponent’s chances of winning Survivor’s Camp with a timely visit from our always hated Green Goblin. Not enough? Throw rocks, arrows, and Hoods over to seal the deal. Sentry would be a double edged sword, more than usual since his whole gimmick depends on locations.
