Marvel Snap's latest Spotlight card can grow to unreasonable size! Let's explore all of the strategies and synergies for Bill Foster, a.k.a. Goliath!
True to his source material counterpart, Goliath starts small and unassuming, but can quickly get out of hand. Goliath starts as a 2/1, but I expect him to play out as more like a 2/7 or 2/9 in most of the decks that want to utilize him.

Key Synergies
Goliath is the best non-Negative Ravonna card we've gotten in recent memory. Sam Wilson is a no-brainer with Goliath since he provides free power to Goliath through the Shield. Spectrum decks are primed for a rise with the addition of Captain Carter and Goliath.
Cheap Ongoings
The more Ongoing cards you can get on your field, the more powerful Goliath will be. That means we need to lean on cheap options to grow our Goliath to threatening sizes.
Hard Counters
Rogue is a less effective counter against Gorgon since your opponent will be gambling which effect they snag, but Enchantress will be devastating and cards like Echo and Super Skrull might see more play this week.
Scosco's Day One Goliath Decks
Agent G
Bast or Agent Venom give Goliath a head start while also working well with other Ongoing cards that each give Goliath+1.
All In Goliath Ongoing
Goliath works perfectly in Spectrum decks. He's especially good alongside Sera since she discounts Goliath to 1, making it easy to play a big card out alongside Spectrum rather than relying on her alone in every game. There are a number of ways to build a deck like this including with the new season pass card (Captain Carter), Affliction cards, or Moonstone as illustrated below.
Speedstone Goliath
Double Moon
This deck doesn't go for such a gargantuan Goliath as the others, instead using him as an efficient rate 2-Cost card in a deck with other threats like Devil Dinosaur and Valkyrie.
Go-Flict
Sera once again lets us play powerful 2 or 3-Cost cards alongside our big finishers. Play this deck well by holding back the right cards and you'll catch a lot of opponents off-guard on the final turn
Little Big Cards
A deck centered around small cards that get big allows us to do things like play Havok earlier and play Goose without worry.
True Beginner Goliath
Goliath slots right in alongside cards Series 2 and below. If you're just starting out in Snap, Goliath could be a good addition to your collection for his utility in decks like this and Zoo decks as well. This deck can slowly be upgraded with new options from Series 3 as you unlock them.
Variants
Conclusion
Goliath is pretty clearly strong and provides a solid amount of power for his cost. However, he's probably skippable if you just don't feel like a fan of Ongoing decks or any of the other places he can be used. Gwenpool and Sersi are both fun, powerful Series 5 cards. I'd you're missing either, it's probably worth spending keys. With the announcement of recent acquisition system changes, you're going to want to spend Tokens if you're only going for Goliath, but if you're missing 2 or more cards you should still spend your keys assuming you have enough and these are cards you're interested in owning. Also that Gurihiru Gwenpool variant rocks, so I'm personally going for that one.
