Welcome to the September mid-month update for Marvel Snap’s Most Wanted. I’m going to use this opportunity to provide a small update on the Marvel Snap’s Most Wanted list for September - without giving away too much about how the results are looking.
Here’s a quick snapshot of some interesting data about this month’s list:
- As I write this, over 330 of you have voted! Thank you!
- Only two characters are currently averaging a 4 or higher. Tough crowd.
- The lowest ranked character is averaging 1.8 out of 5. (And that’s with six of you giving this character a 5)
- There is only one female character in the top 10. (And three in the top 20.) Does anyone want to guess who they are?
- The character in the lead has received the most votes of 5 (177) while the character with the most votes of 0 (86) is not ranked last. Must be a pretty divisive character…Woof.
- And finally… My character spotlight of X-Cutioner must have helped him, because he’s ranked 59, after being ranked 190 after this survey was done last year.
Dogpool is currently ranked #244 on the Most Wanted list, with the most votes of 0.
At the end of the month, look forward to the releasing of the full list of rankings, with an upgraded October 2025 poll. I plan on removing the ten characters who received the lowest average vote, and replacing them with some of your most popular suggestions. I also want to add in some omissions that may be thematic for next month.
I will also be removing anyone who graduates from the list with an official release in October, as well as eradicating any sneaky robots who managed to stay on the list, despite being officially released. (Looking at you, Super Adaptoid…)
Regarding the current top five, if anyone wants to guess as to who they are, here are the alphabetical starting letters of the names of their name: B, F, F, M, W.

The Top 10 Characters are VERY close in voting.
If you haven’t voted yet, stay in line! There’s still time! You can vote for your Most Wanted characters by clicking here. Polls close the evening of September 26th!
Character Spotlight - Dragon Man

With Marvel Snap’s Visions of the Future season underway, I thought now would be a great time to highlight one of my favorite remaining Marvel robots who has yet to make an appearance in Marvel Snap. (Side note: Dragon Man’s name did pop up in the most recent data mine. Although there’s no way to know for sure, it’s very possible he will make his debut later this year. Still, it’s fun to speculate what his card might look like, and why you should be excited for him to finally be in the game.)
Dragon Man, created in 1964 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, is neither a man, nor a dragon. He is an android, designed by Professor Gregson Gilbert, and like many successful inventions, Dragon Man has long outlasted his creator. While initially somewhat successful in his design, Gilbert allows another Fantastic Four villain, Diablo, to imbue his Dragon Man with the spirit of life, in order to reach its full potential.

Dragon Man has a long history in comics, and has spent time with the Fantastic Four, Avengers and even the X-Men. He’s come into his own more recently, and after some upgrades from Valeria Richards, he can now been seen most frequently as a member of the Future Foundation, serving as a makeshift babysitter for the group’s members.

Dragon Man is no slouch, himself. With near indestructible skin, anti-gravity flight and firebreath he is certainly someone you want on your side in a fight. With a Dragon-related season hinted at through datamines, Dragon Man’s day may come soon, so I wanted to have some fun with what his card could do.

Dragon Man - 6/12 - If this card were to be destroyed, it instead gains +2 power and moves to another location if possible.
I like the idea of big, scary, Dragon Man being a six cost, and I wanted a power that showcased his strength, speed and durability. That being said, 6/12 on its own is not a great stat line, but his ability to withstand a hit from Shang-Chi may make him the perfect flex pick in certain decks. He can also move, which is a rarity amongst 6-cost cards.
I could see this card being run in the Skaar package, and it could also fight a use in some out-of-the-box Destroy decks. He might benefit most from the help of Magik, or the ability to be cheated out early. You could also have some fun with him in Galactus, if you can get him out early enough.
