Patch Wish List & Phoenix Surprise

Yes, I actually got heated at DefaultDan in this episode...over Crystal.

With the July 11th patch on the horizon, we thought it would be fun to revist the entire collection in Marvel Snap and look for the diamonds in the rough. Some cards are fantastic. Others...we all well know that you scroll right past them for 'a better option'.

So we broke it into three categories:

  • OTA Style Patch (Numeric Only)
  • Full Rework Style Patch
  • Patch Add-Ons

Cards like Hawkeye, Crystal, Wasp, MODOK and so many more all were highlighted for reasons you may not have thought of before. But, on the contrary, it does raise the question of the health of the meta. And...even with our proposed changes potentially never happening, the game is feeling pretty good right now in multiple game modes. Some decks over dominate in conquest (Bounce & High Evo), some decks are great at the turn 6 surprise factor to succeed in Ranked Mode (Hela & Taskmaster), and some just do enough 'well' to compete in today's meta against a good deck against a novice pilot.

All in all, this was our most heathed episode yet and had some great debate! We're super happy to present this episode to you!
