Power Couples
Power Couple is a temporary keyword added to the game that gives a card's better half bonus power. Below, you will find a list (and Power buff) for all of our power couples
- Angela & Sera: +1 Power
- Black Panther & Nakia: +1 Power
- Captain America & Agent 13: +2 Power
- Gambit & Rogue: +2 Power
- Invisible Woman & Mr. Fantastic: +2 Power
- Iron Man & Rescue" +1 Power
- Miles Morales & Ghost-Spider: +1 Power
- She-Hulk & Daredevil: +2 Power
- Star-Lord & Gamora: +1 Power
- Vision & Scarlet Witch: +1 Power
How Does Power Couples Work?
Let's say you have a deck with both Daredevil and She-Hulk:
- Daredevil [2/2] On turn 5, you get to see your opponent's plays before you make your own
- +2 Power Couple: She-Hulk
- She-Hulk [6/10] Costs 1 less for each unspent Energy last turn
- +2 Power Couple: Daredevil
When you first play Daredevil, She-Hulk gets +2 Power Immediately, wherever she is. On the board, in your hand, or your deck. Likewise, the first time you play She-Hulk, she'll give Daredevil the same boost. If you can get both of them onto the board, that's a total of +4 Power (+2 to She-Hulk and +2 to Daredevil)! And yes, it works on copies of cards. So if you have a Daredevil card on the board and two She-Hulks in your hand, that's +2 Power to each She-Hulk.
Card Text Changes
The following card text changes were implemented with the release of power couples. Please note that some changes might be official while others are not. All known text changes are displayed below for viewing purposes only. Some text changes here have been described as "flawed text strings". We will continue to monitor the situation. Note the entirely new text for Blink
Yondu - On Reveal: Destroy the lowest-Cost card in your opponent's deck.
Mantis - On Reveal: If your opponent played any cards here this turn, copy one of them into your hand.
Miek - When you discard a card, this gains +1 Power and can move next turn.
