Prehistoric Avengers Season
We’re going way back! Agamotto, the very first Sorcerer Supreme, lines up the new season together with the Prehistoric Avengers! Old heroes bringing new threats on the newest Season of Marvel Snap!
Season Pass Variants
Alex Horley keeps bringing banger after banger to Snap! His artstyle filled with dynamic compositions, crisp details and great use of color is in full display for all and the best part is that it is all available to you on the Premium Pass.
Season Cards
The first Sorcerer Supreme and the flagship card of the Premium Pass. Agamotto has an amazing body as a 5-Cost 10-Power, it's so good that he is never seen wearing a shirt. Also, at the game start, he shuffles 4 powerful spell cards into your deck.
They are all powerful in their own right and they are the very first cards with the keyword “Banish”, meaning that they won’t go to the graveyard after their effect. All of his spells seem extremely powerful and Agamotto himself is not to be taken lightly. What decks could we conjure with his help?
The Second Celestial to hit Snap, will he make an impact as big as Arishem did? Erso hovers menacingly as a 6-Cost 9-Power with the powerful effect of playing a card from your hand that didn't start in your deck on his location, every single turn! There’s no denying that he’ll be Arishem’s friend but will he find another home elsewhere
You’re telling me this guy isn’t another Red Hulk? Starbrand brings the heat as a 3-Cost 10-Power card with the Drawback Ongoing effect of granting your opponent’s other locations +3 power each. Sauron is salivating right now, so is Surtur. Starbrand officially retires Gladiator as the resident big Power for 3 Energy. What decks will feature this particular big guy
If you hate Mill, you’d better close your eyes and move on ahead. Firehair whips her hair back and forth as 2-Cost 3-Power with the powerful effect of replaying every single one of your On-Reveal cards that she witnesses being destroyed. Misery’s value is rising more than ever before. I, for one, welcome our Mill Overlords
Going full circle is our favorite lunar deity, Konshu. He starts as a 5-Power 6-Cost with the On-Reveal of resurrecting a card you discarded to another location with its Power set to 5. Interestingly enough, you’ll need to discard him twice before playing him to get his full power.
Figures that a god demands that amount of dedication. If you discard him once, he’ll be at 7-Power and the card he resurrects will be set to 7-Power too. Likewise, if you manage to discard him a second time, he’ll come back at 12-Power and the card he resurrects will once follow him as a 12-Power card. Be careful not to discard him a third time though, he won’t come back if you do.
High Voltage

A fan favorite is back and it is bringing gifts! We don’t know yet precisely what will be in store for us but what we can tell is that a brand new card will be available entirely free for grabs if you play the mode long enough.
The First Ghost Rider is another new tool for the Discard archetype. Whopping 5-Power for just 2-Cost, he seems extremely powerful, but pay attention to his On-Reveal of discarding the lowest power card from your hand and removing that card’s power from the First Ghost Rider. He is mechanically complex and full of potential, I love that. Will he bring about a deck that discards Iron-Man to bring him back with Konshu at full power? Who knows!
New Locations
We got a location that I really like and a location that I hate, can you guess which one is which?

Celestial Burial Grounds is the third discard location and I would say the category is getting quite crowded. Star Brand is another Snowball type location like Castle Blackstone, but this one seems to be made for Starbrand, since it has his name in it and all.
Stay tuned for my Location Lowdown series where I try to find the best ways to maneuver around these new and treacherous locations.

Conclusion
This season isn’t as eventful as the last one but the cards seem incredible! I want to grab every single one of them and my favorite of the bunch is Firehair. I can’t wait to try a ton of weird stuff with that card. The other thing that I’m weirdly into is that amazing Negative Space Album. I wanna see how all the splits work with those stylish pieces of art. And what about you guys? Are you excited for this one? What is your most anticipated card of the season? Any new Variants that have your undivided attention? Let me know in the comments!
