Album Artist Showcase: Creative House Pocket's Pocket Cyberpunk Album!
Artist: Creative House Pocket
Source: Pocket Cyberpunk Album
Kicking things off with Creative House Pocket (CHP) and they've completely traded the horror vibe for a shot of pure Cyberpunk adrenaline! Known for their clean lines and vibrant color saturation, CHP goes all-in on a future of neon cityscapes, sleek chrome, and glowing tech. This isn't just a set; it's an entire aesthetic overhaul for a full lineup of utility and tech cards.
The Awesome Andy variant is a perfect opener, with his blocky, futuristic helmet and a speedometer reading '200KM/H' right on his chest is pure attitude and speed. The purples and neon blues pop off the card!
Danger and Warlock are electric! Danger, with her mesmerizing blue skin and cybernetic dreadlocks, is a force of digital nature, surrounded by chaotic lightning. Warlock takes that chaotic energy and adds a manic grin, his traditional Technarchy look upgraded with vibrant blue lightning crackling from his hands and that trademark green 'mohawk' fan.
I'm completely obsessed with the character design of Jocasta and Bastion. Jocasta’s design has a fierce, human-like intensity, framed by a crimson hood and shocking pink energy. Bastion looks like a high-end combat synthetic, his see-through visor helmet and sleek purple armor focusing all of the psychic power into that brilliant pink energy ball in his hand. Purple Neon border is a MUST!
Even the animal cards get the upgrade! Sparky the cybernetic dog is adorable and tough, featuring a neon-green tennis ball and a great mechanical redesign.
The Human Torch (Jim Hammond) variant is spectacular, trading traditional flame for a mix of vibrant orange fire and glowing yellow armor accents.
And finally, the pure tech cards: Super Adaptoid and Omega Sentinel. Super Adaptoid looks menacing in that shadowy, hooded green-and-black armor, channeling electricity to a huge, crushing gauntlet. Omega Sentinel is stunning, her minimalist, pale face contrasting with the bulky, bright teal and purple mechanical arm.
This entire collection proves that CHP is a master of clean, distinct style, and every single card is a showcase. You'll want a Rainbow Anything Split with Neon Borders for any of these to truly make the neon details explode off the background!
David Marquez's Haunting Bruce Banner Gold Bundle!
Artist: David Marquez
Source: Bundle
David Marquez gives us a dose of raw, terrifying horror in this Bruce Banner variant.
This card is less about an action pose and more about the moment of terror. Banner stands in a tattered shirt, his face etched with pure anguish and a hint of fear, as the Hulk literally bursts out from beneath his skin. The focus is chillingly drawn to the Hulk's single, glowing yellow eye peering out from the torn cloth and shadowy flesh.
The art relies on a dark, muted palette, broken only by the angry, sickly yellow of the eye, which perfectly captures the internal, monstrous struggle of Bruce Banner. This is a variant that raises the bar for realistic, painterly horror in the game. It reminds you that the Hulk isn't just power, he's a true nightmare.
I can already see this variant looking phenomenal with a Black and White Krackle split, giving it a classic comic book horror feel, or even a simple Green or Black Matte Border to emphasize the raw danger lurking beneath the surface. This is a MUST HAVE for anyone who appreciates the deep psychological roots of the character.
Ivan Fomin's Zombie Mister Fantastic!
Artist: Ivan Fomin
Source: Unknown
When we thought the Ivan Fomin zombie goodness was only restricted to the Season Pass, he delivers a new, horrifyingly awesome entry! Ivan Fomin's style perfectly captures the raw, visceral look of the zombies from the comics, and this Mister Fantastic is no exception.
This variant is pure body horror. Reed Richards' characteristic stretch is now twisted into something gruesome, with his limbs contorted and spindly like insect legs. His face is captured mid-scream, with that familiar green pallor and exposed teeth. The dynamic pose, where one elongated hand is reaching out and up, gives the card a terrifying sense of depth and immediate danger.
What makes this variant truly pop is the contrast. The bright, classic blue of his tattered Fantastic Four uniform contrasts sharply with the decay and the murky, sickly yellow-green of the background light. It makes the figure the chilling center of attention on the board.
If you were a fan of his Zombie Giant-Man roaring at the sky or the overall "zombie apocalypse" vibe of his season pass collection, this variant is a necessary addition. For a split, a Foil or Gold finish would make the sickly yellow background glow even more menacingly, enhancing the horror factor!
Rian Gonzales's Chibi Zombie Mister Fantastic Variant!
Artist: Rian Gonzales
Source: Super Rare Pool
The master of the adorable, yet unsettling, Rian Gonzales, is back with a solo appearance in the Super Rare Pool! Following up on her incredible Chibi Zombie Variants from the season shop , this Mister Fantastic manages to take a gruesome concept and drown it in a sea of neon colors and uncanny cuteness.
This variant is a fantastic counterpoint to Ivan Fomin's horror take. Here, Reed Richards is wrapped in brightly colored bandages, with big, tearful, chibi eyes and a cartoonish stream of drool. The bright, almost jarring yellow-green background, punctuated by tiny, adorable zombie bats, gives the card a playful, pop-art energy.
This is the distinct Rian Gonzales take that we have all come to love! Her style is known for its vibrant colors and unique chibi cartoon look. It takes the Undead Horde theme and makes the zombified heroes arguably even creepier with that weird mix of cute and decayed.
Sunghan Yune's Venomized Fenris Wolf!
Artist: Sunghan Yune
Source: Bundle
What a SURPRISE! Fresh off his terrifying take on The Beast, Sunghan Yune delivers a creature feature with this incredible Fenris Wolf variant. Like his other work, this piece leans into the horror of the Venomized aesthetic, making the massive wolf look truly monstrous.
The art is dominated by black, inky symbiote tendrils that writhe and swirl around the wolf’s dark fur, beautifully contrasting with the patches of stark white. Sunghan Yune has perfectly captured the moment of transformation and pure savage aggression. The wolf’s pose, with its jaws wide and teeth bared, combined with the piercing red eyes and exposed, visceral muscle, makes this a truly terrifying piece of art.
If you are a fan of the full-art, horror-infused style, this is a MUST GET! The immense depth and texture make it a natural for any kind of split! I cannot wait to see what see your splits in-game!
10/15
Diogo Saito's Venomized Marvel Boy!
Artist: Diogo Saito
Source: Super Rare Pool
The Venomized line continues to deliver, and this week we get a fantastic take on Marvel Boy from the incredibly talented Diogo Saito in the Super Rare Pool! Saito's style is dynamic, clean, and perfectly suited to capturing the fluid, alien menace of the symbiote.
Marvel Boy is captured mid-air, utilizing the Venom symbiote to enhance his Kree power set. The contrast is brilliant: the traditional black and white of the Venom suit is accented by striking green and gold armor plating and a sweeping green cape, giving him a regal, warrior-like look.
The details are spectacular. You've got the classic Venom face with the long, wet tongue and sharp teeth, all set against the neon backdrop of a stylized cityscape that suggests a fight happening high above the streets. The massive, golden Nega-Bands are still prominent, but now appear to be partially corrupted and enhanced by the symbiote’s biology.
For splits, this needs something that makes that gold pop! A Gold Finish would be a natural choice to emphasize the armor, or a Red Krackle to match the red neon light streak and bring out the danger in the Venom mouth!
In-Hyuk Lee's Lethal Viper Bundle!
Artist: In-Hyuk Lee
Source: Bundle
The artist that Does Not Miss! In-Hyuk Lee, is back, trading Magneto's dramatic, commanding pose for the sleek, lethal confidence of Viper. Lee is a master of digital illustration and cover art, known for his ability to blend dynamic realism with high-end, almost painterly detail.
This Viper variant is pure spy-thriller. She is portrayed in her classic green outfit, but elevated with a sleek, black leather jacket shrugged off one shoulder, giving her a look of effortless danger. Her expression is perfect! A subtle, knowing smirk and intense gaze that immediately conveys her ruthless intelligence and power.
The attention to detail is superb, from the shine on the leather jacket to the cool, golden glow of the background, which casts a dramatic light on her signature green hair. The small Uzi she holds casually in her hand reinforces her status as a force to be reckoned with. This isn't just a variant, it's a high-fashion portrait of one of Marvel's most dangerous masterminds.
Like the Magneto variant, the technical polish on this is FLAWLESS. For a split, a Gold or Green Krackle would make that backlighting absolutely explode, giving this variant the vibrant pop it deserves!
Ivan Fomin's The Hunger Variant!
Artist: Ivan Fomin
Source: Unknown
The master of the visceral undead aesthetic, Ivan Fomin, is back with his take on the newly introduced The Hunger card! After giving us horrifying variants for Mister Fantastic, Giant-Man, and the Season Pass crew, Fomin brings the same action-packed, comic-book zombie style to this powerful new card.
This variant is pure, concentrated horror. It features a terrifying trio of zombified heroes: Captain America, Bruce Banner (mid-Hulk-out), and a blazing Captain Marvel. The art perfectly captures the grotesque look of the zombies from the comics, with exposed muscle, wide-open, decaying screams, and those signature glowing yellow eyes.
The zombie Captain America is lunging directly at the viewer, with Bruce Banner’s severed, screaming head floating alongside him, while a zombified Captain Marvel flies in the background, her energy turning from golden heroism to something sickly and malevolent. This dynamic, aggressive grouping beautifully represents the card's theme of The Hunger and the Horde mechanic. This is a must-have piece to celebrate the Zombie Season!
10/16
Chuma Hill's Enchanting Enchantress!
Artist: Chuma Hill
Source: Unknown
A true piece of artistry hits the game today, debuting the phenomenal style of Chuma Hill with this stunning Enchantress variant. This isn't your standard clean comic line art; this is an illustration that truly celebrates the painterly and magical side of Amora.
The variant is characterized by its fluid watercolor texture and a vibrant, almost chaotic color palette. Enchantress is shown with a fierce, unwavering expression, holding aloft two swirling globes of light green magical energy. Her dress and flowing blonde hair are rendered in beautiful, loose brushstrokes, giving the figure an ethereal, powerful feel.
The background is a swirling vortex of pinks, purples, and deep crimson, making the green of her attire and the magic she wields pop with incredible contrast. This art style perfectly suits the Asgardian sorceress, making her look less like a supervillain and more like an ancient, powerful entity of pure magic.
For a split, this variant absolutely begs for a Gold Finish or a Foil to enhance the subtle paint textures, or possibly a Pink or Purple Krackle to make that swirling magical background look truly volatile. This is a must have variant for any collector who loves the unique, cover-art style in the game.
Dan Hipp’s Death Variant!
Artist: Dan Hipp
Source: Rare Pool
You can always rely on the Rare Pool to deliver a shot of pure joy, and nothing says "joy" like Dan Hipp's unique, playful style! This week, Dan Hipp takes one of the most terrifying, cosmic entities in the Marvel universe, Death, and gives her an adorable, yet deadly, cartoon makeover.
Dan Hipp’s style is instantly recognizable, and this variant is packed with his signature charm and vibrant, chunky colors. Death stands as a massive, cloaked skeletal figure, conjuring pale blue energy, but the real fun is in the details!
Look closely: floating on the card alongside her are a tiny Spider-Man and an equally tiny Thanos, who is absolutely smitten with his classic, love-struck Heart-Eyes! It's an incredible piece of comic history distilled into a single, hilarious, and heartwarming graphic illustration that perfectly captures the character's long, complicated relationships in the Marvel cosmos.
For splits, this variant is going to look amazing with any Krackle effect to make that vibrant purple background and the blue energy pop. This is a must-have for the Hipp collector and a fantastic, lighthearted piece to offset all the heavy horror and chrome we've seen this week!
Francesco Mattina's Venomized Green Goblin Gold Bundle!
Artist: Francesco Mattina
Source: Bundle
This Green Goblin is pure, unfiltered nightmare fuel.
This variant is what happens when the Green Goblin's insanity is amplified by something monstrous, giving us a terrifying Venomized or Green Goblin aesthetic. The art is steeped in dark shadows, forcing your eye to the center: a massive, grotesque grin of razor-sharp teeth and that sickly green skin.
The highlight has to be the flaming pumpkin bomb. It's rendered with incredible texture and detail, casting a furious, flickering orange and red glow that contrasts violently with the dark, inky greens of the Goblin's body. The combination of the classic character's malice and the monstrous, raw-power aesthetic is visually devastating.
This variant truly showcases Francesco Mattina's ability to create an instantly iconic image, and it captures the essence of a terrifying comic book cover. For splits, nothing but a simple Black or Red Border will do, keeping the focus entirely on the fiery core of the artwork.
Rian Gonzales's Chibi Zombie Power Man!
Artist: Rian Gonzales
Source: Super Rare Pool
The Undead Horde theme gets one more blast of neon cuteness from the master herself, Rian Gonzales! She delivers this absolutely iconic chibi take on Zombie Power Man.
This variant is a perfect example of her unique blend of vibrant colors and distinct chibi cartoon style. The zombified Power Man still maintains his heroic stance, bursting through a brick wall, but with that adorable, wide-eyed, yet decaying look that makes the whole set so unsettlingly fun.
This variant perfectly captures the "uncanny cuteness" that makes these zombified heroes arguably even creepier. The bright blues, neon yellow headband, and orange shirt pop intensely against the dark background, transforming a gruesome concept into a phenomenal piece of art.
If you're collecting the full set of Rian's Chibi Zombies and you should be, this is an essential piece. Similar to her other work, this card is going to look absolutely phenomenal with a Rainbow Krackle split, making all those bright colors stand out on this card!
10/17
Otto Schmidt's Terrifying Hood Variant!
Artist: Otto Schmidt
Source: Rare Pool
The Hood is captured mid-air, firing his twin pistols, but the focus is entirely on the demonic transformation taking place. His massive, billowing red cloak dominates the frame, serving as a chaotic halo of crimson. But the real star is the Hood's face. An empty void in the shadow, revealing a jagged row of massive teeth and a forked tongue. This isn't a man in a costume; it's a powerful demon.
The colors are rich and stylized. The bold, saturated reds of the cloak contrast sharply with the dark, monstrous shadow beneath the hood and the bright yellow glow of the background and his guns' muzzle flash. This contrast gives the entire card a dynamic, high-energy feel.
This is a phenomenal piece for anyone running a Junk or Destroy deck who wants their cards to look as aggressive as their gameplay. For splits, this looks like a perfect match for a Red or Gold Krackle to amplify the colors in this variant!
10/18
Skottie Young's Baby Captain America (Sam Wilson)!
Artist: Skottie Young
Source: Rare Pool
It wouldn't be a proper week without a drop from the master of the adorable and slightly mischievous, Skottie Young! Hitting the Rare Pool today is a fantastic take on Captain America (Sam Wilson), adding another iconic piece to the beloved Baby variant collection.
This variant is pure, energetic charm. Skottie Young captures Sam Wilson in his classic suit, complete with the shield, but with that exaggerated head, tiny body, and wide, expressive eyes that define his style. He’s depicted bursting through a tattered newspaper background, giving the artwork a great sense of dynamism and history, even at this scale.
The design manages to be incredibly cute while still looking utterly heroic. The vibrant reds, whites, and blues of the uniform pop, making this a spectacular card for any player looking to add some personality and color to their deck.
For splits, the clean, thick lines of the Skottie Young style always shine with a Black and White Krackle (or Ink) finish, but that brightly colored background would also look phenomenal with a distressed Blue or Red Border. This one is an immediate get!
Peach Momoko's Mystical Magik Bundle!
Artist: Peach Momoko
Source: Bundle
The unparalleled artistry of Peach Momoko makes its presence felt in a new bundle, delivering a breathtakingly ethereal take on Magik. Peach Momoko is renowned for her unique style, which blends traditional Japanese painting techniques with a deep sense of gothic and mystical horror.
This variant portrays Magik with a quiet intensity, sitting front and center and locking eyes with the viewer. The key details are her demonic horns and the massive, sharp, spiked Soulsword gauntlet covering her arm. The whole piece is rendered with a soft, watercolor-like finish, giving it a dreamy yet dangerous quality that perfectly suits the sorceress who rules Limbo.
If you are a fan of Peach Momoko's deep emotional touch and fantastic character redesigns, this is an instant classic. An Ink Finish would look absolutely incredible, white a White Krackle split would enhance the subtle, ghostly background glow. This is not one to miss!
10/19
Gustavo Pelissari's Dynamic Rocket Raccoon & Groot!
Artist: Gustavo Pelissari
Source: Super Rare Pool
This variant is packed with movement and detail. Rocket is perched right on Groot's shoulder, leaping into action, gripping one of his massive weapons. Groot himself is rendered with stunning, intricate wood grain texture, and his expression is wonderfully ferocious—he's less of a gentle giant and more of a savage, walking battleground. The glowing green dots across Groot’s body add an unsettling, bio-luminescent touch that makes him look like an ancient forest weapon.
The colors are rich and vibrant, with the deep wood tones and Rocket's orange jumpsuit contrasting sharply with the swirling purple and pink backdrop, suggesting an alien world or a chaotic warp jump. This is a perfect example of a variant that uses both its foreground and background to convey a story.
For players who love high-energy art, this is a MUST have!
Exclusive Signed Wolverine Variant!
Artist: Jomaro Kindred
Source: Promo
LETS GO BUB! We are getting a wonderful signed version from Jomaro Kindred that celebrates a pretty HUGE milestone. Kindred is an incredible talent and the opportunity to get his actual signature right on the card to celebrate this special take on a classic hero is huge!
This will be an exclusive, unique version of this card, making it a 1000% must-have.
I am so pumped to get this card and, honestly, I might not even put any split on it and leave it the way it is! It's rare that the game offers variants with the artist's signature right on the art besides maybe the Nick Fury one, so shout out to the artists and Second Dinner for putting this together to celebrate their third year! I really hope we see more signed variants in the game going forward, but until then, GET.. THIS.. ONE!

Fly Me to this Moonstone Variant!
Artist: Creative House Pocket
Source: Super Rare Pool
We close out the entire Variant Forecast with a sophisticated final drop from Creative House Pocket (CHP), proving they are masters of multiple aesthetics! After dominating with the Cyberpunk Album, they now deliver a stunning, cosmic take on Moonstone in the Super Rare Pool.
This variant features Moonstone in her sleek white uniform, but the art itself is elevated by the incredible energy. Her long, flowing blonde hair seems to be caught in a cosmic breeze, and her entire figure is enveloped in a swirling vortex of lavender and white energy, which she is channeling in her hand.
The whole piece has a beautiful, clean, almost anime-inspired sci-fi look that CHP excels at. The dark, blurry cityscape behind her, accented by the cool blues and purples of space, really makes her bright, white suit and pale golden hair stand out. Her pure white eyes and intense expression perfectly convey the alien power she wields.
This needs a finish that makes that energy glow. A White Krackle split would look absolutely brilliant. This is a powerful, visually striking card to end the week on!
Wrapping Up
BANG BANG! That wraps up my second Variant Forecast and it was a week for the ages! From the chrome futurism of Creative House Pocket's Cyberpunk Album to the grotesque elegance of Ivan Fomin's horrors, and the star power of In-Hyuk Lee and Francesco Mattina, the quality of art hitting the game this week is unbelievable.
