We Are Venom Season

Our favorite gooey alien is here, and he brought all his extended family members to join Marvel Snap! Please welcome Scream, Misery, Scorn, Toxin, Anti-Venom, and Agent Venom, the season pass card! We also have some amazing news with the newest gamemode!

Season Pass Variants

Pandart Studio did it again! They made three incredible pieces of art for this season pass. They are colorful, dynamic, and imposing, all at once! Check their animation with our newest feature on their variant page.

Season Cards

Agent Venom

On Reveal: Set the Power of all cards in your deck to 3.

Flash Thompson is here to shoot bullets and redeem himself, and he is all out of bullets. Peter’s old bully joins the fray as Agent Venom, a 2-Cost 4-Power card with the On-Reveal effect of setting every single card in your deck to 4 Power. He has a lot of potential if you build a deck full of cards with a small Power like Thena, Iron Man, and Sage. Any decklists coming up in your mind?

Scream

When an enemy card moves, steal 2 Power from it. (once per turn)

Scream is the anti-move tech that we needed this season. She is a 2-Cost 2-Power that reads, “When an enemy card moves, steal 2 Power from it. (once per turn)”. She’s Kingpin’s older sister, and together they might be able to create a new “Move your opponent’s cards” deck.

Misery

On Reveal: Repeat the On Reveal abilities of your other cards here, then destroy them.

Is that Carnage with a wig? Misery is a 4-Cost 7-Power card with the On-Reveal of repeating any other On-Reveal card that is on her location with the cost of destroying those cards. She is a cheaper destructive Odin. She has so many applications! Get rid of Electro. Reactivate your On-Reveals on cards that you don’t care about their presence on the board. Get rid of any Goblins. The possibilities are endless! She is my most-awaited card this season.

Scorn

When Discarded: Put this back and give +2 Power to itself and one of your cards in play.

Discard will never be the same. Scorn joins the game as a 1-Cost 2-Power with the effect of returning to your hand every time she is discarded while also giving 2 Power to herself and a random card on your side of the board. Is she just Swarm on steroids? Swordmaster's recent change is looking good right now. Is the classic Discard back in town?

Toxin

On Reveal: Return your other cards here to your hand. +2 Power for each returned.

Oh, so that’s why Beast got nerfed. Toxin is a 2-Cost 1-Power card with the powerful On-reveal of returning your other cards at his location towards your hand while also getting +2 Power for each card. Say hello to Bounce’s newest tool. There is now a lot of redundancy with the archetype; do you think he will replace Beast or Falcon? Or perhaps bounce decks will run all three?

Anti-Venom

On Reveal: Set the Cost and Power of your deck's top card to 0.

“You have a sickness. I am the cure!” Anti-Venom, a 4-Cost 6-Power card with the On-Reveal of setting the Power and Cost of your deck’s top card to 0. He kind of reminds me of Iron-Lad, who also tries to hit a powerful card on top of the deck. Although Anti-Venom has a lot more nuance to him. We could also use Luke Cage to keep our card’s power.

2 Year Anniversary Celebration!

To celebrate, a new set of daily login rewards will be available starting on October 18th:

Day 1: 65 Random Boosters
Day 2: 250 Credits
Day 3: Title: Live, Love Snap
Day 4: 2 Neon White Card Borders
Day 5: Premium Mystery Variant
Day 6: 155 Random Boosters
Day 7: 1 Cosmic Orange Card Border
Also, there will be a Community vote between three variants. The most-voted variant will be given to every Snapper. Which one will you vote for?

New Game Mode

Danger, Danger! Marvel Snap's newest gamemode will be called High Voltage; it will feature crazy fast matches that end on turn 3. Also, every single turn, both players get a random amount of energy from 2 to 5. It doesn’t have cubes, and you can’t Snap! Can you imagine how crazy those matches are going to be?! The only sad thing is that it will be a temporary gamemode, running for a week starting on the 18th of October.

As a reward for playing, you’ll get Volts which can be exchanged for some nice rewards.

There is some cool stuff there like Credits, Borders, Tokens, An Iron Man Variant…

Wait, is that... It can’t be! It’s the secret extra card of the month that you can grab for free!

Agony

After you play a card here, merge this into it.

Say hello to Agony, a 1-Cost 2-Power with the effect of merging with the next card played at her location. It doesn’t seem like much, but some cards could use her +2 effect to acquire some higher Power ceilings. Maybe she is the extra boost that Scarlet Spider needs?
