Daredevil used to set up turn 5 plays classic Shang Chi, Prof X, or Gamora doings, ideally this will be after a few big turn 2/3 plays. There will come times where not playing daredevil is the right choice early on, this deck needs power out early to survive and staying about even up to turn 5/6 is essential to victory.
Zero to cancel out Maw, Lizard, Mary and even Viper if you're in a pinch. Zero Maw turn 2 is a spectacular start. If can't play Zero with Maw try and save him to play with Mary turn 5 or 6. Zero is a big cog in this machine but not getting him doesn't lose you the game. Can be a clutch turn 6 draw if you have the right cards and can be placed down last on turn 6 with a 5 drop to squeeze an extra 3 power in the end.
Viper is a real wildcard here. Use her primarily to gift your opponents empty lanes an Ebony Maw on turn 3 (passing until 3 to do this is fine if no other plays are available.) Making it easy to win that lane with a subsequent Lizard or Klaw drop, or tie it up with a Kingpin or DareDevil. and focusing your heavier hitters on the other lanes. Viper without Maw can also gift opponents The Hood to inconvenience them and return any Goblins or Rocks that may have been thrown your way. Very versatile card! very fun when you get some counterplay with it!
Kingpin is good power for cost, insurance against movement decks and opponents adding surprise cards to locations you gifted Ebony Maw to turn 6. Very good if placed on the Left Lane against movement decks, as well as the New York and K'un lun locations. Heimdall's nightmare.
Lizards a bit of a Backup card. Never the real hero of the deck but a very good support player if you get a bad hand. Can be paired up with Maw on turn 3 if Zero and Viper show up late to get a cozy 12 power on the board in a location then start focusing elsewhere. Remember Klaw is in the deck so make sure to set them both up where they can be supported. Zero targeting Lizard isn't ideal but in some late game situations playing a Zero'd Lizard on a full location can be clutch and something to keep in mind.
The Hood can be used to win bar with no name or gifted by Viper to locations like the negative zone or the sewer system for the enemy. The Hood's Demon is useful especially in this deck because there are no 6 cost cards, so pairing the Demon with any 5 drop last turn is very useful. Watch out for a turn 6 Killmonger.
Klaw Is a good insurance policy against locations like Death's Domain Luke's Bar and Sanctum Sanctorum and can add power to a location you used Ebony Maw at. Comes in very clutch.
Shang Chi you already know.
Gamora and Professor X use Daredevil to find them a target. Don't use a shot in the dark if you don't have to. Most games will be won or lost with these 3 cards. Prof X can also be used to win Death's Domain
