EDIT 2/09/2023: KINDLY CHECK THE NEW DECK BUILD WITH THE LINK UP THERE.
Hey, welcome to my deck build. This is a Pool 2 deck that I've been using for a while now and it has worked for me 80% of the time.
EDIT: Some people may have further suggestions that may not be included here, so here's the link to the reddit thread https://www.reddit.com/r/MarvelSnap/comments/1001eli/prof_x_ebony_sunspot_deck_pool_2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
NOTE: Ant-man is an easy replacement. He's only there cause that's what I have recorded for my YT vid. Punisher, probably replaceable but I'd beg to disagree based on past experiences.
Let's first start with weaknesses:
- Killmonger exists (very bad if you don't have Armor up to cover Maw and/or Sunspot).
- Location positions. (With this deck, I like playing Maw & Sunspot / Prof X & Sunspot together, either on the middle or right location. This is because Klaw can help fill up any power needed to win that zone on turn 6 or whatever turn it may be).
- As usual card rng. (For me I don't play essential cards until turn 2 or 3 just to see whether I get Sunspot + Ebony. In the instance where I get one and not the other, I play Scorpion or Okoye turn 2. I also mix up a bit of combinations, but only when I feel confident)
Now let's talk strengths:
- Passive power + locking down one position. (I don't need to explain)
- Shang Chi. (You wouldn't believe the number of plays I've had with Shang Chi coming in clutch at turn 6. He's such a bomb able to totally mess up locations like Gamma Lab, Xandar, Washington DC, Stark Tower, Muir's Island, Monster Island and Atlantis)
- Now let's talk Sandman, he's not part of the build there, but he can be essential however you see fit. He restricts the number of cards you and your opponent can play, meaning you get surplus energy for Sunspot and the opponent can't play combo decks consistently.
- If you have storm, please replace her with Xavier. I can't begin to explain why she's so OP. Just do it. The idea is Storm + Jessica Jones, you can also go Storm + Sunspot, but I prefer going Sunspot with Maw instead.
Thank you for taking your time to read. I'd appreciate if you'd check my videos. I have many more decks to share.
