Deck trying to abuse Red Skull and Typhoid Mary in the most consistent way possible.
This shell is very versatile and can be changed to a Black Panther/Zola one, can be played without Cage - though I've found him great in this deck and to help with location RNG - or with Hazmat - not doing enough for the deck atm, I feel.
The plan is pretty simple.
- First, you either steal priority through Lizard and Maximus orset up a big turn 6 by placing Armor in the lane chosen for Red Skull/Mary. Dropping Cage is also fine.
If you don't have Red Skull or Mary by turn 2/3 or you drew Shuri, you can use Zero on Lizard/Maximus (it is not compatible with Shuri). Do keep in mind Cage and Enchantress also stop Lizard's ongoing.
- Then, you have to assess whether you can go on with the Shuri -> Red Skull -> Taskmaster combo. If you have it and an Armor/Cosmo to protect it, you can very safely snap.
Otherwise, go for Mary + Cage/Enchantress or Zero + Red Skull/Mary. This isn't going to win you every game - as won't any other deck - but it's fairly consistent with how many ways you have to gain a large amount of points by the last turn.
You have several ways to disrupt your opponent within the basic shell of the deck:
- Cosmo and Armor annoy a lot of decks, while giving absolutely no issue to us (do not Cosmo a lane you want to use, though; been there, done that).
- Enchantress bullies most ongoing decks that do tend to give us problems
- Opponent Scorpions are rendered virtually useless by Luke Cage existing in the deck
- You can also substitute these with any other card you feel is most suited for the meta.
