This list is a must-try for those of you who picked up Bast after she dropped to Series 4!
When you use Bast on Mysterio, both of the illusions are set to 3 power as well, so Mysterio becomes 9 power spread evenly between the lanes and also buffs Bishop by 3 points.
If you go Bast -> Nakia on Mysterio, that's a homemade 2-cost Doctor Doom right there. Brood benefits a ton with these buffs as well. Okoye is in the deck so we have another play on turn 2 besides Angela. (We NEVER play Mysterio on 2, we save him to see the 3rd location, buff him with Bast/Nakia, or get our Bishop down first)
Since we're better than the clowns who run Domino and Sera in their surfer decks (and we have Mysterio to get bodies on the board) Nova is a great fit in this deck to develop on on Turn 1 (play him instead of Bast if you have both, so you can buff cards that won't be destroyed) so we can get Nova's buff onto tons of cards later with Killmonger.
This deck can put out insane amounts of power pretty consistently, assuming you draw Surfer--however we don't have any of the utility that other Surfer decks have (like Cosmo, Polaris, Storm etc.) so keep that in mind.
This is probably the only deck I've made where the tag "Aggro" actually fits. Turn 1 Bast (if you don't draw Nova) -> Turn 2 buffed Angela or Okoye -> Turn 3 Bishop or Nakia... This scares the **** out of people, so they'll probably retreat if you snap after showing that.
However, if you snap too early, the 3rd location might be something that locks you out of the game like Crimson Cosmos (TRUST ME, IF YOU RUN THIS DECK THEN THAT LOCATION IS MEGA BOOSTED IN ODDS) So snap early, but not TOO early if you catch my drift LOL--in addition there are certain match ups we just aren't prepared to win, namely Galactus--if they snap after playing Wave or Electro, you should dip out. Against Zabu decks, if you fill up a lane with Brood and they snap on turn 5, odds are they will Spiderman + Absorbing Man (they always have both, because the game is rigged AF) and prevent you from playing Surfer on Turn 6, so keep that in mind.
Better to snap and retreat for 2 in cases where our opponent counters us, rather than waste a lot of time letting our opponent retreat for 1 every game. This works out because we simply have more power than every deck that isn't Galactus/Spider-man bull**** shenanigans that ruin the game and make it unfun! =)
