The ongoing archetype has some of the strongest cards in pools 1 & 2. Here is my attempt at fitting them all in 1 deck. The idea of this deck is to rely on the strong late-game cards and hold off on playing until turn 3. Spamming cards in turns 1 and 2 may seem to give you tempo but you are limiting your Namor and Warpath.
Here are a few things to consider when playing this deck:
- Surprise Namor: Playing Namor on turn 4 gives the opponent 2 turns to react and often times the 10 power Namor is not strong enough to counter the combined power of a 5 and 6 cost card. However, playing Namor on turn 6 will let you sneakily take a location as you suddenly go from 0 to 10 power.
- Klaw in the middle: Winning the middle location is very important for this deck. Mr. Fantastic has the best value when played in the middle and Klaw is the best mind game machine when in the middle.
- Hobgoblin is the best wingman: Hobgoblin supports Namor & Warpath by effectively providing "power" without disrupting their ability.
