A Cerebro 2 brew designed to lock down the current Feature Location, Plunder Castle. Get Goose early into Castle with Iron Fist and lock down a second location with Storm. From my experience, most of the time the enemy will just retreat once the wind comes to aid your hand.
Optionals:
Blue Marvel: A staple of C2. I designed this list to play for two locked locations, so more often than not, Cerebro and Mystique are enough. Replace Daredevil if you want, but I find the perfect T5 information to be invaluable.
The 1-drop: Of course, we can't remove Iron Fist or Nightcrawler, so that leaves Iceman as the replaceable card. Korg is underestimated, so you could use him. Alternatively, you could be insane and slot in Uatu. Your choice.
Hob/Green Goblin: A hard slot if you're playing for the featured location, but a consideration since we are running Daredevil anyway. Replace Scorpion if you decide to do a lil trollin'.
Invisible Woman: If you really want to hide your Cerebro/Mystique. Since we want to lock down the Castle and another location early, it's not a bad idea to hide your W condition behind her. Once again, replace Scorpion.
Beast: An incredibly neat tech card to get rid of any potential trash locations throw your way, be it Monsters or useless Ninjas.
Gameplan:
Well it's a C2 deck, so you probably know the drill already. But let's go over it anyway.
Turn 1: Iceman > Nightcrawler. Preferably, into the unknown. C2 decks rarely want to take that risk (too easy to get disrupted by locations) but there is a 40% chance of getting some early power into the Castle. Believe!
Turn 2: Scorpion > Daredevil. Yes, it's the annoying Ice Scorp 2-punch everyone hates. We do not care. If the Castle hasn't flipped yet, and you have Goose in hand, drop him into the unknown instead. Once again, believe!
Turn 3: This makes or breaks our game. Usually, C2 decks want to drop Mr. Fanta in the middle of a 6 power push. This could still be the case, but you will have to weight that play against two other routes: Storm now to lock/correct a location, OR getting Goose into the Castle, should he not be there already. Always consider your draws and what the enemy is playing, think long and hard about your next moves, and if you're confident, snap before your lockdown starts.
Turn 4: Brood will usually accompany Storm here, plus a Nightcrawler for that sweet flexibility. If you judge T5 will be important (you're running a Hobgoblin or the enemy might have disruption), Daredevil + Sinister instead to cap Storm's lane. You can also get cheeky and Iron Fist + Brood: The copies will remain, but Brood himself will get to another lane, a neat way to play for 2 locations at once.
Turn 5: The enemy is still here? Make 'em regret, then. This will be a mostly reactive turn, so it's hard to tell you what to do. Daredevil should give us perfect information, and that makes things easier. If you're running Hobgoblin, you can try to disrupt what is likely their only available lane. Blue Marvel sets us up to have 7 power on all of our cards. Toss down Invisible Woman and Cerebro behind her. If you suspect a Leech, drop Cerebro and something else on the board. Or if nothing is going your way, retreat! You'll get 'em next time!
Turn 6: If everything went according to plan, end it with a Cerebro Mystique. Remember that our power ceiling with this deck is 24 (28 with Blue Marvel). So do your math homework and retreat if the numbers say to do so.
