Destroy got a pretty big buff recently with the wolverine rework which now allows wolverine to gain 2 power every time its destroyed. This gives destroy decks another juicy target to destroy with the likes of carnage and venom etc.
Gameplan: You typically want to develop deadpool and the hood early on in the game and then start destroying them with the likes of deathlock or carnage or killmonger depending on what is available in your hand. If you have forge you typically want to develop the forge before the deadpool as the extra buff on deadpool will help speed up the exponential growth of deapool faster.
Ideally you want to destroy the first set of units with carnage or deathlock and then after once you have some more points on row you can set up a big venom on that row to get its power as high as possible. You can then follow up with taskmaster which will copy venoms power and play for easily 15+ points when drawn together.
You also can try setup another win con which is to play wave on turn 3, followed by death on turn 4 while stacking a single location and then you can play venom to consume everything on that row on turn 5 followed up by a massive taskmaster finisher on turn 6.
You can also try get a massive deadpool if you draw all your destroy triggers and use that + death as your finisher or even deadpool+ death +taskmaster as your final play if your death is cheap enough depending on how many cards were destroyed during the game.
