The issue in discard archetype is that, the more discards you have, the more RNG there is.
This deck aims to mitigate that by having fewer discards for more consistent results. The ceiling is low, and I doubt this deck will compete well in higher ranks, but it should help climb low or mid-ranks.
Discarders :
Collen Wing, Lady Sif, Dracula, MODOK
These being our main discarders, it is easy to predict and control what will be discarded.
Discard Targets
M.O.D.O.K - Yes, MODOK itself is a target here. When there is no Apocalypse in hand, Lady Sif becomes an awkward play on turn 3. If we have Ghost Rider, we can safely discard MODOK. (Assuming you haven't tempo played Collen wing to discard a swarm)
Swarms - Use Collen WIng on turn two if Apocalypse is in hand. Or else hold back.
Wolverine - Rarely gets played for tempo. Just wait for MODOK to hit it.
Potential Playlines:
T1 - Sunspot
T2- Morbius (Ideal), Collen (if you have Apocalypse in hand or Wolverine in hand but no swarms)
T3 - Lady Sif (Discard Apocalypse or MODOK)
T4 - Dracula (Win Cond)
T5 - MODOK if available or Ghost Rider to bring back MODOK, discard the swarms and Apocalypse
T6 - All the swarms and America Chavez. Let Dracula do its thing.
RNG here:
The only RNG here with respect to discard, is if you have discarded swarm and MODOK before turn 5. Ghost Rider has a 50% chance to bring back MODOK.
Ceiling:
Ideally, Dracula + Swarms should win a lane. Dracula is usually 16 or 16+ power. Morbius + MODOK or Lady Sif + Ghost Rider + MODOK should help contest another lane. America Chavez and swarms to shore up where ever power is required.
P.S: Cosmo is just a tech card here and rarely gets played.
