This deck has taken me from mid-40s to 60s in a span of days. Here are some of the main features:
- Quinjet reduces the cost of all Infinity Stones to 0. That way you can play multiple cards per round (the Stones) while leaving energy unspent. That unspent energy will hopefully either fuel up Sunspot or bring She-hulk into play.
- Lockjaw lets you swap low-cost Infinity Stones for cards in your deck without paying the price of the deck card.
- Thanos is basically optional here. He's a strong card but frequently he'll cost more than Devil Dinosaur for less power. Besides the lower power, that extra 1 energy could go to Sunspot or reducing the cost of She-hulk.
- The Power Stone hat trick that boosts Thanos is hard to pull off, highly luck dependent, and space consuming. Plus Thanos' bonus will only hit in the one spot where you play him (if you even get to play him). I rarely go for it.
- However, if you do find yourself getting a lot of the Stones taking up space, Ka-zar and Blue Marvel will help power them up for you.
- Time Stone helps get cards down early, consider saving it for turn 3 to get an early Leech play on turn 4 which will maximize Leech's effect and devastate your opponents.
- Space Stone gives you flexibility but you can only move one card on one turn. Unlike Cloak, your opponent won't get the benefit of the move. You can use this move to more equally spread your strength or to free up an otherwise full location.
- If you see an opponent laying down Wolverine, Nova, Deadpool, etc., you can play Armor to jam them up but only if you reveal before them that turn.
- If you're leading in two locations going into turn 6, and you and your opponent each have an open slot in the remaining location, Aero is almost a guaranteed win. Play it in the remaining location to keep your opponent from overcoming your two other leads. This won't necessarily work if the card they played raises the strength of other cards or summons cards to other spots, but in my experience it's basically always worth trying if you find yourself in this specific scenario.
- Be sure not to accidentally play ongoing cards (Ka-Zar, Blue Marvel, Devil Dinosaur, etc.) or high-power cards (Thanos, Devil Dinosaur, She-hulk) in a spot where you played Lockjaw already. I've lost a match to my own forgetfulness on that more than one time.
- Magik isn't in here, but if you somehow get Limbo before turn 6, you can skip that turn to play Infinaut and She-hulk in a single round.
