I am naming this style Hoard because it wants to keep (hoard) unused energy and use it in other ways than play cards.
This initial theory craft leverages the High Evolutionary and all "unlocked " cards that he effects. The idea is to lean into Susnspot/She-Hulk synergy that falls into this archetype of unspent energy. I added armor to protect the Sunspot as I expect Killmonger to make a resurgence in April to combat Hit Monkey. I elected not to include Luke Cage in this initial version as I don't think I will care if I lose power on my cards as much as my opponent will. The upside then for Hazmat then is potentially having a free Abomination to slam down turn 6.
I don't recommend playing Wasp T1 as it will be hard to predict where opponent will play cards to hit with her debuf. It's better to save her until T3-6. High Evolutionary looks awkward to play T5 when you want to conserve energy compared to The Thing which with his ability is a 4c/9Pwr play to HE 4c/7Pwr. Hitting any other card with Shocker to discount later plays >3c seems pretty good and getting as many debuff abilities off seems to be the way to go to get a cheap or free Abom off T6.
Theoretical play lines :
T1: Sunspot, T2: Armor, T3: Shocker, T4: (2c)Cyclops, T5: skip, T6: (1c) She-Hulk+(1c)Abom+Thing T6Pwr: 24
T1: Misty, T2: Sunspot, T3: Cyclops, T4: Shocker T5: Thing + Wasp, T6: (5c)Hulk(20Pwr)+(1c)Abom T6Pwr: 29
T1: Sunspot, T2: Skip, T3:skip, T4: (3c)She-Hulk, T4: Cyclops+Wasp, T5: Shocker+Hazmat, T6: (0c)Abom+(5c)Hulk(22Pwr) T6Pwr: 31
T1: Skip, T2: Sunspot, T3: Shocker, T4: Hazmat+Misty+Wasp, T5: High Evolutionary, T6:(0c)Abom+(5c)Hulk(22Pwr) T6Pwr: 31
Looking forward to playing this when Evolutionary comes out!
