The Game Plan
The standouts here are Devil Dinosaur and The Collector, both of which synergize with the rest of our deck that add cards to our hand like Nick Fury, White Queen, and/or Agent Coulson. Additionally, we have cards like Quinjet and Zabu to discount our cards, and Cosmo and Shang-Chi to add some deck tech.
Essentially, we keep our opponent guessing what we could be playing while keeping our hand big for Devil Dinosaur.
The Decklist
- Nebula is a true "set it and forget it" card that is great for value generation and pressure for our opponent.
- Quinjet discounts all of our generated cards and allows for some nice late turn plays.
- Daredevil is a bit of a tech card in the sense that he gives us information for our Shang-Chi, Cosmo, or any cards we've generated.
- The Collector can easily get to 8 or 9 power in this deck, and pairs well with a lot of our cards.
- Zabu is really good for discounting a card from Agent Coulson, but also discounts our White Queen, Nick Fury, Moon Girl, and Shang-Chi.
- Cosmo is a tech card that can protect our Devil Dinosaur and also gives us a defense against certain decks.
- Agent Coulson is a fantastic card for creating surprises, buffing our Collector, and keeping our hand big for Devil Dinosaur.
- Shang-Chi is an easy to include tech card that allows us to take a lane and stop some greedier decks.
- Moon Girl is great in this deck and offers play options that are different than Agent Coulson or Nick Fury, but are still strong in their own right. Having 2 Devil Dinosaurs is just a classic.
- Nick Fury fills a similar spot to Agent Coulson, but can arguably be better when paired with Zabu + Quinjet. Being able to play him on turn 3 and then having 6-cost cards in our hand that cost five is great! He also buffs our Collector by a considerable amount and keeps our hand big.
- White Queen is a simple card that gives us info while also buffing Collector and keeping our hand big.
- Devil Dinosaur is a staple in this deck and will very rarely be less than 17 power. Easy money!
The Wrap-Up
This deck archetype is a classic and Nick Fury's buff feels amazing to play. Any excuse to pull out my Dan Hipp variants is good enough for me, but this deck also feels pretty competetive!
