Paths to win:
- Get early power down, then Wave->Aero
- Play good cards and win
- Shang-Chi
Misty Knight - (swappable for Sunspot) the point is to get some early spread of power and capitalize on any banked mana.
Zabu - Lets you play your 4-cost cards early, OR let's you play a bunch of surprise cards on the last turn (Shang-Chi especially).
Wave - Mostly a control tool for turn 5 if you're playing against a deck that's depending on a last-turn play. Can also be used early to bait out an opponents big power cards to Shang-Chi turn 5 or 6.
Cyclops - Good value.
Darkhawk - Potentially big card. Fine early play to secure priority (good for turn 5 or 6 Shang-Chi) or to make an early claim to a lane, and a fine late play for a surprise burst.
Shang-Chi - Kill big things.
High Evolutionary - Just there. Sometimes fine to play if Zabu pulls the cost down.
Rock Slide - slight disruption, ok value, and buffs Darkhawk.
Thing - Great value.
Aero - This deck is very good at securing the early game (reducing enemy power while having a good curve and great value cards). So, Wave on turn 5, then Aero turn 6 let's you position the enemy's final card where you want it - and you'll often have priority with your good power spread, shutting down a lot of deck's final turn combos.
Abomination - Big boy with likely reduced cost. Can play flexibly later in the game alongside your cheaper 4-cost cards.
Hulk - Bigger boy with standard cost. Good to cheat out early with Wave or as a final play with Wave. Or simply as a good 6 drop.
