Where does Corvus fit? That is a dificult question to answer
In Reliable-Discard feels strange, because you are not going to use or take advantage the extra energy in most case-scenarios
In Hela-Discard is risky because of the non-targeted discard, Hela can be discarded. With other 6 costs can work, is still an option but... too ramdom? I don't know
So... Where does Corvus fit? Maybe Thanos
In Thanos we will have a big hand and the gems are good targets for the discard. If we discard Hela is ok, we want the big guys. If we discard the big guys we can bring them back with Hela.
The benefits of the ramp
Turn 4 Professor X: Corvus premium stats and other gems can be enought to win the location on turn 4 with Prof X. Mid location feels the better option to fight against Miss Marvel decks
Turn 4 Devil Dino: Setting a discount for Skaar
Turn 5 Thanos, Blob or Magneto: setting another discount for Skaar. With Magneto we can clog a location
Turn 5 Hela: why not? Even if you discarded 2 gems can be an option to refill the hand for Devil Dino or to play 20 power Thanos. Hela on 5 gives us the oportunity to correct her randomness on 6. Or even retrear if we weren't lucky
Turn 6: so many options. Caiera+Cull / Skaar+Caiera+2 gems / Blob, Magneto or Thanos and a gem / Hela
Or just play on curve and a gem "for free"
Why Black Swan then? for those games that we can't ramp
Is this deck better than others Thanos' deck or Hela's? I don't think so but with the flexibility of the gems and the good stats of these cards i guess that this can work
And why not to play those other decks? Because we just want to watch the world burn
I'm not getting Corvus because I want to save resources for other incoming cards, so if you try this deck please comment and say how it feels.
Have fun
