Namora deck with a bunch of Ravonna cards.
Recommended play patterns:
- In turns 2 and 3, try to play any single card in two locations. Your turns 4, 5 and 6 are generally taken up by the Odin-Wong combo.
- Echo in the middle. To catch stray Ms.Marvel, Mr.Fantastics and kneecap Klaw (left Klaw gives +8 to the middle but that is your Wong lane. You're generally winning from the other two locations). Echo is where you want to play your On Reveals so it being in the middle also plays around Grandmastered SC/SK.
- Prefer playing other 2-Costs over Ironheart and Sage on Turn 3. Energy waste is not a big deal and Ironheart/Sage are huge with Wong. In fact, try to keep Sage in your hand till Turn 6. Only exception is if you don't have anything to play on Turn 3.
- Cass.Nova on Turn 3 to lure out Shadow King. I had that happen once.
- Goose on unrevealed locations just in case Crimson Cosmos is revealed.
Card justifications/replacements:
- Goose can be any 2-Cost card. It's probably faster to name cards you don't want playing in place of Goose instead of replacing Goose: Havok, Mister Sinister, Mysterio, Silk. Everything else offers significant benefit or 'spice' to the deck. I like Goose the most because it prevents Shang-Chi and restricts opponent's play. Now that Colossus is vulnerable to SK, he only offers miniscule upsides over Goose. He can't be moved but when was the last time you've seen Polaris?
- Cass.Nova can be Nocturne/Shaw/Storm. In fact Nocturne/Storm might be straight up better than Cass. There are many times where Cass just sits in your hand after Turn 3 (tbf it's rare for any 3 or less cards to be played after turn 3 except Sage/Ironheart). She's a huge body against Arishem but is super vulnerable to Shang-Chi. I've put her in the deck originally because she has synergy with Ravonna and she would lure out SC/SK but that aspect haven't come up enough to make a difference. Honestly you can play any 2 or 3 costs here, just remember to include at least three 2-Cost cards in your deck. If you play only two, you will struggle to put out a card on two locations by Turn 4. P.S. Echo doesn't count because she's played in the Wong lane and also vulnerable to Killmonger.
- Kang can be Iron Lad. Iron Lad is a hail mary and would be played on top of Wong if you don't draw White Tiger/Namor/Odin. If you play Iron Lad, you must take out Goose. I play Kang because I just like him and this is the deck where most of his upsides matter. 1) One more turn of draw if Ravonna's in play. 2) Scouts Shang-Chi and Shadow King. 3) We already play Echo who would protect him from Cosmo. Funnily enough, Echo and Kang are a little anti-synergy. I had my opponents play Ongoings onto Echo lane quite a few times but fix their mistakes thanks to my Kang. So keep that in mind.
