This is a theory craft for the recently leaked update to Bullseye. Considering that he activates to discard ALL cards that cost 1 or less- and essentially gets +2 for each discard- Bullseye is a great enabler for the cheap discard targets. Grouping him with cards like Scorn, Swarm, and Muramasa Shard allows him to let off a big flurry- which can be paid off tremendously with The Collector and Morbius. Other discarders like Colleen Wing, Blade, M.O.D.O.K., and even Sword Master (who adds a lot of Power and doesn’t hit Colleen Wing, Moon Girl, Bullseye, Morbius, or The Collector) still support this game plan without Bullseye.
This deck has lots of little advantages that make it seem like it will be a meta shaker:
- This deck has no strict turn 6 play. The Activate effect from Bullseye comes after whatever you play, so you have many options. You can discard whatever you like, you can Moon Girl to get a ton of discard targets, you can play your Morbius and The Collector if you didn’t play them earlier. If you don’t have Bullseye, you can dump all your Swarms and Scorns and whatever else you still have.
- Moon Girl is hard to predict and is highly flexible. Swarms that would clog the hand can be played to keep them from doing so. She can duplicate Bullseye if she’s been ramped out by turn 3. Or she can duplicate the cards he’ll be throwing. Or she can duplicate Morbius or The Collector to spread Power very easily.
- As mentioned earlier, Sword Master adds a lot of Power without risking any of your valuable cards. He can be duplicated to be played in two locations on turn 6, which is a lot of Power by itself.
- X-23 can be used to ramp on each turn. She can ramp on turn 1 with Blade, turn 2 with Colleen Wing, or turn 3 with Sword Master. Any combination of these will do the same on subsequent turns. She can also be valuable in Death’s Domain, Vormir, and other games with unreachable locations.
