Very simple, fun deck that I piloted for most of pool 1. The only cards that don't have ongoing are Korg, Nightcrawler, and Angela.
1 drops are important to take early board presence and smooth out weird turns and would obviously opt for more ongoings if possible, but we don't so I chose Korg as a strong disruption tool for the opponent and Nightcrawler to get into locations that can be tricky for other cards to do alongside Ant-Man who is almost always going to be a 4+ power 1-cost and has ongoing as a huge bonus.
Angela is just an all-star. You put her down at an empty location and watch her grow as you keep playing on her location, including playing Nightcrawler and moving him away to give more space. You'll almost never lose an Angela location.
Colossus being immune to so many things is nice. He can slot into so many of the detrimental locations and not be bothered in the slightest and often win locations because of it.
Lizard is probably the weakest option here, but at 2-cost and 5 power? Really can't go wrong. Pick a location the opponent doesn't seem to want to play into and that's a ton of power for the cost. Worst case scenario it baits them into playing heavier in that location while you focus elsewhere.
Mister Fantastic is solid. He slots into a middle location Angela play really well. He combos well with Klaw/Namor. I've won locations without any units present just by using Klaw and Mr. F to extend to the right for 8 total power. Since Namor wants to be alone, it gives him some extra oomph without a unit commitment.
Captain America only works well in a location you plan to stack heavy into, but it all but guarantees you'll win that spot. Curve him into a Ant-Man, Colossus/Lizard, himself slot and he'll put in the work.
Namor crushes it as a solo defender. Mr. F, Klaw, Spectrum, and Blue Marvel will all help him single-handedly win a location by surprise. It takes a huge commitment from your opponent to overtake his location.
At the 5-cost, Klaw is usually the better play of the two, but there are situations where Blue Marvel can give you just the push you need in a full lane to take control over your opponent.
Spectrum is just amazing. She comes in and gives everyone +2 power. The only time she's not good are the rare games where you've amassed Korg, Nightcrawler, and Angela and don't have enough targets to push the locations.
