A Blink In Time Marvel Snap Season
The Thunderbolts season went by so fast! It's like if you blinked, you missed it. Thankfully, you blinked and got to our next season, A Blink In Time. A new set of cards will be released in the A Blink In Time season, including Blink, Namora, Nocturne, Sage, and Sasquatch.
Season Pass Variants
Our season pass variants for this season are quite different from the last couple of seasons, as 3 different artists' works will be showcased. Here are the season pass variants you can obtain through the season pass track.
Season Cards
Let the chaos begin. Blink is a 5-Cost with 7-Power that On Reveal swaps the last card you played with a higher-Cost card from your deck. There is some extremely good potential with Blink. As said in the developer update, she can be utilized with other On Reveals that provide board benefits but at a low power level to gain the benefit of that card and attempt to replace that low power level with something much more significant. It will be interesting to see what Blink can do with ramp cards like Electro and Wave to attempt to get out of Blink as quickly as possible.
I am excited about this card. Namora is a 5-Cost with 6-Power, and On Reveal will give +5 Power to each of your cards alone at another location. It may take time to figure out how to use Namora exactly, but I see a lot of potential in her and Ms. Marvel's combination. If you committed the early turns to have 1 card in the right and left location, respectively, you can place Ms. Marvel in the middle on turn 4 and then on 5-player Namora with a burst play or even just a Dr. Doom on turn 6 to complete Ms. Marvel's condition. She may not find too much early success with the current meta disrupting your board state very often, but I can see a day when she can be useful.
Nocturne is the daughter of Scarlett Witch and Nightcrawler, who is a 3-Cost with 5-Power. Nocturne can move once. When Nocturne moves, she replaces its location with a random new one. She is essentially a 3-Cost Jeff with great stats. You do run the risk of turning the location into something that isn't in your favor, but other than that, I don't see this card not being solid.
Sage is a 3-Cost with 0-Power that On Reveal gets +2 Power for each different Power among all other cards here. This is an interesting late-turn play for disruption decks, but you can also see play in Mr. Negative style deck compositions. The potential to have Sage become a 14-Power card for just 3-Cost is insane! I wouldn't get much hope for that to be a consistent state line. I think you will be happy with a 3-Cost with 8-Power if a deck composition can pull that off consistently.
Boy, oh, Boy. This card might be a problem. Sasquatch is a 6-Cost with 10-Power that states that she costs 1 less for each card you played last turn. This card will be excellent to pair with bounce-style deck lists that run Mysterio and Hit Monkey and any deck lists that predominately feature low-cost cards like Zoo. I also found an interesting instance where you can play Sasquatch the next turn if you pull Sasquatch from Valentina on turn 2.
