Don't. Push. This. Button! Bundle
If you thought Second Dinner would back down on emotes, I have bad news. The "Don't. Push. This. Button!" bundle will be available in the shop tomorrow.
Let's compare this to two bundles we had this week that totaled the same cost as this bundle.
Not only were these two bundles most recently in the shop, but they also give you an idea of how Second Dinner views emotes from a valuation standpoint. If you were to combine the rewards of Team X-Men and Team Avenger, you would have received 2 variants, 2 avatars, 2 titles, 2500 credits, 310 boosters, 2000 gold, and 2500 credits for essentially $40. That is 7 items for $40 without going into any other details.
Now, for the "Don't. Push. This. Button!" bundle, you receive the I AM Groot emote, 5000 credits, and 1500 gold for $40. That is 2500 credits more, 500 less gold, and an emote that encapsulates the value of the boosters, titles, avatars, and variants. So I will leave the question to you. How much does Second Dinner value emotes? I would say it is quite hefty just observing this comparison. Plus, it's Baby Groot! The overall popularity of Baby Groot probably attracts people's interest in this offer.
Emote Update
An emote in the season pass is not exclusive to this season pass. The next few seasons, and probably every season moving forward will also feature an emote within the season pass track. What are these emotes that will show up in the next few seasons, you may ask? Well, let's dabble into some predictions, shall we?
Zeroes to Heroes
If the emotes within the season pass follow the same parameters as the Cyclops variant, it should fit the season's theme. Although Red Guardian didn't quite live up to Captain America's prestige, he could travel his heroic path, which fits the Zero to Hero theme.
Bounce Through the Multiverse
Does teleporting = bounce? Who is to say? Not only is this a fine emote, but it would fit the season, given that Nightcrawler's daughter is featured as a new card within the season in Nocturne.
It could also be this morph emote since Morph is a character in Exiles as well, theres lots of good possibilities!
What do you think about Second Dinner's push to monetize emotes? Let us know in the comments!
