The long-awaited Series Drop is finally going to happen today alongside the patch. Among the cards being dropped, I feel like Nebula is the strongest of the lot. With that being said, it is my mission to tell you how strong she is– and to make as many references to the soundtrack of The Guardians of The Galaxy as possible. So, I’d say there Ain't No Mountain High Enough to stop me from selling you the idea of how awesome she is. As a Series 5, she was worth her slot, and soon, she’ll be a steal, costing only 3000 tokens on Series 4. Without further ado, let’s Go All The Way and see how well she would suit your growing arsenal of powerful cards.
Nebula is quite simple: a 1-Cost 1-Power card that for every turn that is on board and your opponent didn’t play a card in her location, she gets +2 extra power (not counting the turn that you’ve played her). If she is on the board, your opponents will be Hooked on a Feeling to play on her location every single turn until the end of the game. We could use that in our favor with a flavourful Guardians of the Galaxy deck. Nebula baits your opponent's cards, and your Guardians get stronger when played on her location together with your opponent’s cards.
We could take a different route. If, for any peculiar reason, your opponent is incapable of playing cards where Nebula is, she would grow for every single turn. Do You Realize how powerful that is? We could use cards to inconvenience our opponent into playing somewhere else by limiting cards like Goose, Storm, Jean Grey, Professor X, and even Sandman. Winning a location with the power provided by a 1-Cost card is quite amazing. Your opponents will be begging to Surrender upon your tactical genius.
On the very same day that Nebula drops, Gilgamesh will be released. This Is the Day I believe Zoo will be a phenomenal archetype with his inclusion. And since Nebula has one of the highest potential power in-game for a 1-Drop, she would fit that deck cozily enough with Ka-zar and Blue Marvel Ongoing effects buffing her and giving even more power to Gilgamesh. Maybe the Dog Days Are Over for the Zoo.
Ironically, Nebula fits so well in a High Evolutionary deck. If you give your opponent more turns by using Magik, eventually, he will run out of space or cards to play where Nebula is. Also, in the meantime, your Nebula will grow, your opponent's cards will be blasted by Cyclops, and your sunspot will grow bigger. It also helps that this deck will be accessible with only High Evo himself being Series 5.
Alright, I gave you many reasons to play her. So give this Poor Girl a chance, and don’t be a Creep playing without Nebula in your collection. She is such a strong card that even if the Locations are Badlands for you, she will make your opponents hit the Retreat button to Escape from her Cherry Bomb of power. Did I overdo the song references?
Let’s look at some decks!

You can be sure that I Will Dare you to use these ideas and concepts to make your own crazy decks that leverage Nebula’s power. I promise she is an amazing card, and you won’t regret having her in your collection.
