GAME PLAN:
Main plan (turns 1-4): play stones to cycle, don't play time stone, try to galactus on 5. If you dont draw galactus by turn 4, give up on that plan unless you have wave but not she-hulk. Play galactus into a location that gives opponent priority, then drop death+knull (or shang-chi in rare cases).
2nd plan (turn 4-onward): at this point you've probably destroyed some cards with carnage and killmonger, if not do so and play wave on 5 (make sure you have 2 energy left for she-hulk unless she is not in hand). play death+thanos+she-hulk on 6.
3rd plan: if you dont draw galactus by 4 and dont draw wave by 5, your are just a thanos zoo deck. you're probably not winning unless you played all stones and have powerstone on board, but hey, not many decks have a chance to win if their main plan doesnt work, let alone their main and back up plan. Sometimes kang on 6 will steal the win though.
- weakest cards that can be replaced in order of weakest to best:
1. shang-chi. You almost never shang-chi before 6 and at that point you wanna deathwave anyways. if you have galactused you probably want to knull anyways so shang-chi real value is when both of those plans fail (you probably lose that game anyways) or when knull isn't big enough or isnt drawn post galactus. Also people run cosmo and armor so its never guaranteed. Also with nirmod being released cosmo or aero seem to be much better cards now.
2. carnage. It can help free up locations and lower cost for deathwave and is cheap, but sometimes feels very bad
3. psylocke (definitely cut the other two before you consider cutting this). helps consistency of galactus and can sometimes make the wave turn of death wave better (wave+stone instead of just wave on 5), but 2 energy 1 power is super weak when you don't get that off. It is worth noting having carnage mitigates that weak power.
- Cards Im considering
black knight/angel/chavez - help increase draw/consistency?
cosmo - just a good tech card/if you go first post galactus
cloak - good for getting priority/countering squirrels for galactus
ntw - more destroy, buffs knull/cheapens death, can play before turn 6 unlike shang chi. Now that its been revealed that she only destroys the card after its been revealed, I think she is trash and really is only a counter to decks that play one big card at a time.
snowguard - not sold on the bear effect but the hawk effect could allow for scam wins with galactus into sanctum sanctorum assuming it only effects you and not your opponent as well
Aero - its the best card in the game so can't really ever count it out.
Lockjaw/leech - if lockjaw doesn't get nerfed, this may be the best mana cheating option that its worth it alongside leech (if leech also doesnt get nerfed)
